We had a really enjoyable stay here and would definitely return.Everything you need in the room was catered for, tea/coffee, complimentary fruit and chocs. Plug sockets convenient. Comfy bed. Decent bathroomBeds were comfy, bedroom was spacious, clean and new.Breakfast was impressive. Staff very attentive on reception and at breakfast. A nice chilled vibe in the lobby bar and complimentary welcome drink which was a nice touch.
Nothing negative to say
We loved the wellness facilities of the hotel, including the two heated pools, the sauna with a view and and fantastic massage service. The food was also excellent and the staff very friendly with us.
Location
It was good enough, but it should be clean especially the bed cos we found too much hair and the bed sheet wasn’t clean.
grate place for ski . very good breakfast /
Dinner verity is limited
Virtually everything. Breakfasts fantastic, drinks very reasonably priced. Staff were marvellous.
Choice of main course for dinner very limited, that is the only criticism I would make.
Warm and cozy design, very comfortable bed and pillows
The spa is split on two different levels, the outdoor pool was closed. The skiroom is too small. Food variety was poor.
- Modern hotel but with traditional alpine wood lodge feel- great facilities, spa, dining- excellent reception staff- excellent food options - breakfast & evening meal
Outdoor pool shut
The rooms are modern and spacious. Especially liked the wooden floors. The hotel has a nice pool to take a dip after a day of skiing and an adjacent sauna. Plenty of parking close to the hotel and 5-10 minutes by car from the Kaltenbach ski lift. Dinner was excellent and the breakfast buffer has everything you need in the morning. Overall, excellent stay for a weekend and would book again.
everything was superlative. Extraordinary accommodation, everything new, well-kept, discreet food, delicious every time. Bus in front of the accommodation to go skiing and the train 5 minutes walking distance from the accommodation. If I travel to the Zillertal valley again, I will definitely choose the same accommodation.
We got a free drink voucher which was nice! The breakfast is broad and rich, the pool and sauna were nice, there’s even a small river near the hotel, and the location is the most beautiful place in Tirol.
Parking is €8 a night, which adds up pretty quickly if you’re staying for more than a few days. Plus, you have to walk upwards in the street to get to the parking.
Staff were super friendly, the hotel was spotlessly clean and the food was delicious.
Shocking
Staff were disorganized made us wait for our room so we went to the pool then they changed our room putting all of our luggage in the new room leaving me to stand in their reception in my swimming trunks soaking wet demanding a key to my new room while they argued it wasn’t ready I told them we didn’t care if it was ready and that we just simply wanted to dry and change and they still wouldn’t hand over the key !!! Absolute shambles
The hotel is new and very nice and comfortable. The staff are very nice and the breakfast too
Everything was very good
Facility of sauna at room although you pay for it as you book i
No Air conditioner and it getting hot during night..Most of staff are new and not well oriented so they struggle to open our room several times as the key is not working while check in.Limited breakfast options. They choice the worse location for breakfast table for 2 persons and she want us to set on it despite we are 3 persons!!!The cost of car parking
Hotel is very nice; the food was great; We had breakfast and dinner; the room was also very nice with very nice view! I would like to Thank You to the staff because they have made possible to have the room a little bit earlier ( pregnant in 8 Months) and for me that was heavenly because I could to sleep and to relax after 3 hours of driving... and this thing was really a nice gesture that shows that the customers are very important for them! so Thank very very much!
The only minus I can find is the Spa area/ Pool area; is a little bit to small for such a big hotel ; In the future will be perfect if they make also a pool outside, with more sun loungers; really it need it!
The design of the hotel, the atmosphere of the rooms and the SPA, were really awesome. The facilities are great, the swimming pool has a decent size, the saunas are very nice. My personal favorite is the steam room with the lights and aroma therapy. We ha a very spacious room, with a small sauna of our own, and with a cool view to the gardens and the local creek.
The service in the restaurant was a bit slow and inattentive. They did care and were nice when they were there, but you often had to wait longer times for someone to come your way. I think they might have been understaffed when we were there, as it is out of season generally, but the hotel was quite full.
I was almost going to give 10 out of 10 to Vaya hotel, however i was very disappointed with the view of my room (room 203)The reason i picked this hotel and being in this exact location is to enjoy the beauty and the nature of the place and its surrounding, however, there was a renovation and construction right in-front my balcony, which really ruined my entire experienceI have tried to ask the hotel to fix that or change the room to another one with better view, however they claimed it was fully booked and couldnt helpI have also escalated this matter to booking.com, and bo respond from them till now, which was another bummer having such poor customer service from booking after being a customer for all those years as i have never done any hotel booking without them
