    Pros +

    • Definitely not worth the money. It does not have an ambiance of a Schlosshotel.
    • I felt like I was in a wonderland. Beautiful place to stay. The staff was very nice and friendly. We had the privilege of having a private excursion with the owner's grandson, Artem. He has a very nice personality and a broad knowledge of the castle. My friends and I are looking forward to staying at the castle again in May.
    • It’s a nice property but surprised it was super empty

    Cons -

    • The most parts of the buildings are empty or are not heated at this time of the year. Therefore you have the feeling that you are in an almost uninhabited hotel in the middle of nowhere. We reserved a table for dinner at 7 p.m. but we were later asked to change our reservation to 6 p.m., because the stuff wanted to go home.
    • All was perfect, no comment here : ).
    • WiFi did not work for me which was a bit unfortunate as I picked the place to have the opp to take a longer call in some nice environment.Breakfast was ok. A pity it was a la carte and not the typical buffet you would expect

warm welcome and friendly yet highly proffesional staff greeted us after 9pm. Rooms are comfortable, clean and bed is perfect for good night rest. at this occasion with excepitom of one more couple with a pet, we were the only guests (also with a pet). it was a wonderful experice waking up in all that peace. This place have our warmest recomendation.

if anything need a mention or a attention point, we could say that . breakfast was good, yet could be improved with a salad choice or as per our personal preference, some pretzel.

Super dinner frendly staff super big garden

the small 160cm bed is not comfortable and that is problem for us and only for that we will not come back unfortunatelly …

The experience was exceptional. Due to low season, the hotel was very quiet and calm. Travelling with two small children, we appreciated mostly that we weren't disturbing anyone with our kids being loud. The staff was friendly, the room spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The food was delicious. The thing I appreciate the most was their attention when it came to my kids allergy. I informed them in advance and both for dinner and breakfast there were plenty of options available for them. Big plus

Only thing I could find I tiny flaw in, that the bedrooms can't be fully darkened. Every room had a small window without curtains. Really only an issue if you are trying to convince your toddler to take a nap at lunchtime and they are used to sleeping in dark rooms

Location in the middle of nowhere where you can certainly enjoy relax and quiet castle gardens. Nicely renovated rooms. Genius loci of sleeping in the castle.

Restaurant closed because of low season, the closest option is 6 km pizza (good) or 15 km Sankt Pölten. Breakfast ok but overpriced.

    Bad

The hotel is located inside a beautiful castle, which one can not see and can not visit. There are no common spaces at all. Not even a lounge, or cafe, or a space where one could relax. Guests only have access to their rooms -all the rest of the spaces are private. You can not stay at a hotel without any common spaces.

The hotel is beautiful and very grand but soul less as we were the only guests staying at the hotel and it seemed that everything was closed, out of bounds and the only option was to go to our room and stay there.

The hotel was beautiful but last arrival was 9pm and there were no facilities such as a bar etc to use. We were the only guests and we did not receive a warm welcome. The entrance was locked, we were taken to our room and we were not offered a drink or even a bottle of water. There were limited items in the mini bar which were to be paid for.

Staying in an Austrian castle was a special experience. The history was concisely explained in the pamphlet. Great breakfast.

The restaurant was closed the night we arrived.

I love the picturesque hotel and surroundings. Very well maintened garden and property. The bed was so comfy I slept 12 hours straight. I stayed one night in mid-october, and it was very quiet, which I enjoyed. The staff was also helpful.

I visited in mid-october, so low season is probably the reason why the restaurant was closed. There aren't a lot of good restaurant options opened during the week in the area, but the staff gave me a useful list of restaurants nearby. Overall, plan a visit during the weekend when the restaurant is opened, or be prepared to ride elsewhere to get good dinner options.
