Located a 3-minute walk from the Thermal Spa, Hotel Garni Birkenhof is located on the edge of the scenic spa town of Bad Radkersburg. It offers a healthy breakfast buffet and free Wi-Fi. Guests can access several hiking trails in the immediate vicinity and the thermal spa with a reduction on the admission and already 1 hour prior to official opening times if a day ticket is bought. The town center is reachable in a 10-minute walk. Guests can also get active at the Bad Radkersburg Golf Club, which is 3.7 mi away. Free parking is available on site. Our house only offers overnight stays with breakfast. However, there are numerous guest houses and wine taverns in the area. Birkenhof guests receive a 10% discount when purchasing a day ticket for the Bad Radkersburg thermal baths.

- The pictures imply a woodland setting, peace and quiet. It is in a road of other hotels and bars, the river and countryside are nearby, but you are not in it. It was very warm and there was no aircon. When I got back from work there were no staff so I could not even ask for a fan. With the window open the insects, including mosquitoes, could get into the room (I was badly bitten) and all the noise from the nearby bars was very disturbing, so I had to close the windows and suffer the heat. The description says the hotel has a bar, but it does not.

The breakfast was adequate. The staff were friendly. The room was large and clean.

Very nice and comfortable hotel. Room spacious. Breakfast - outside on a terrace, if the weather allows- is very good. Restaurants with local cuisine in the center of the old village, approximately one and a half kilometer away.
