First and foremost, I love the staff. Accomodating, helpful, kind. Some mentioned that there's small variety of food at breakfast, but for me it was just perfect. I liked the news leaflet at breakfast, too. The room was big and clean, perhaps it was just a little bit too hot during the day, but I was mostly outside anyway. The bed was comfortable.2 saunas were enough for the amount of people in the spa. The Finnish sauna failed at heating twice, but the staff was able to fix the issue.The location is perfect, near train station, next to the Slovenian border, within nostalgic streets of old town, surrounded by thermal park and a lot of greenery, and lake. The grocery stores are nearby.

Rather a heads up for future guests. Despite the building being old, rooms and facilities were renovated. But don't expect the glamour the number of stars promises.Two things I can think of to improve is (reading) bed light, which was weak, and perhaps slippers or flip flops (to walk to spa) for those of us who notoriously forget them at home.

Very good location, facilities and customer service made our stay very pleasant.The parking was a bit tight, but the reception team did all their very best to allocate extra space for our car.

Room was extremely tired and needs remodeling. Half board dinner was okay, not great.

Everything was perfect. All the staff are very helpful; the breakfast and dinner are really good with plenty of choice.Superb large room with terrace facing the pool area; air con; large shower.We could store our bikes securely in an inner courtyard.The pools were great. An easy short walk into the historic little town centre; or across the bridge to Slovenia.

The location and the breakfast.

The room was a joke! You couldn't sit strait on the toilet because the wall was to close!!! Yes, hard to believe but true! Not as pictured....Also, the bed sqeeked loudly every time you moved during the night. Woke up several times. Very disappointing. And, the end price was slightly higher than the booked price, without any extras. It wouldn't have bothered me had the room been okay.

Strange dinner menu, food was a touch disappointing. The room on the ground floor has huge windows directly to the pool so if you're not careful, you'll end up directly in view of the people outside - or alternatively you have to close all blinds in the middle of the day. The room design was also peculiar with unfinished bare walls and decor that didn't fit with the rest of the hotel. The bed wasn't comfortable.
