Hotel Rose

This hotel offers a spectacular expansive most amazing panorama of the Danube and miles around it. Fantastic.Nice facilities, elevators, delicious big buffet breakfast. The dinners we had in the restaurant were great, nice service.

We enjoyed our meals in the restaurant with fantastic views. Free parking is a bonus.

The terrace was not open despite already nice spring weather.

The staff were super friendly and helpful and the hotel is very cute and cosy with a terrace offering fantastic views over the countryside. The room had a gorgeous balcony with views too. They also provided a garage to safely store our bikes for the Danube River way. The bar downstairs is fantastic too.

The reason that we booked this hotel was because of the commanding view of Danube from high up. (only if you book specific room with that view). The scenery is beautiful. Close to Melk Abbey, 10min drive.

Basic room, basic hotel and dated furniture

Nice location. Friendly stuff. Clean. Beautiful.

The location is superb with a astonishing view over the Danube river. The room is very comfortable and the bed was good and I slept really well. The selection of the food/drinks at the breakfast buffet was excellent and we always got a nice table at the window with the wonderful view. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Amazing view on the Danube. I warmly recommend taking the room with the view. The restaurant was great and the service very good.

I was met by a very kind gentleman who gave me the room key, despite me arriving very late at night due to bad weather.I had lots of wet clothes and he allowed me to use the drying room and gave me complimentary soft drinks. All in all, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.And yes, the view over the Danube. Simply amazing.

I left a review on the 18th of October, where I might still haven't been fully awake yet, so I want to change write this one to give a more accurate and neutral summaryClean rooms, great view, the facility itself overall was very good. Was there for a wedding and the overall experience was pleasant/good

The food definitely left a few things to desire. We were attending a wedding so could choose from the wedding meal. Main dish and desert were great. However, the midnight Gulasch was quite poor and a few other guests noted too, that it wasn't particularly tasty. Breakfast was sadly quite lacking and the scrambled eggs were not enjoyable at all. The rest of the breakfast was fine as was the food overall, however there definitely were a few joy kills.Staff was also friendly overall, however there were a few times were they didn't bring the right thing or listen to what we were saying. But alas, I guess that isn't a big point.

The "double bed" was actually two single beds softly placed next to each other wit ha decent whole in the middle. This is misleading.

Restaurant was first class, staff were brilliant, very traditional without being old fashioned .. lovely all round.
