This was my second stay, I loved this hotel and restaurant so much that I had to bring back my girlfriend to see it for herself…..super clean, friendly and delicious food.

Rooms have been refurbished to a very high standard. Spotlessly clean. Very comfortable beds and lots of attention to the smaller details such as welcome chocolates and towels shaped to represent different animals!Martin is an incredibly attentive host and genuinely wants you to enjoy your stay.Food is typically Tryloean and of good quality.Holzgau is a great place too skiing close by and bars and restaurants.

Only wish I could have stayed longer.

greeted by staff member who ran out to point the way to the garage. Offered a room upgrade but given a further upgrade to an extremely nice room. Meals & service all great. Will go again for sure

very minor point but the bathroom divider is glass & there's no blind at the bathroom window, I'm a light sleeper & found this a nuisance but overall a great visit

The host, Martin, was exceptional. He is very welcoming and kind. In addition, the property was very clean and comfortable. The room was very new. Furthermore, the facilities like the ski locker were great. Even heaters in the locker to dry you ski shoes. Access to the property/lockers is very convenient through key passes. It is even possible to enter an elevator from the street directly.

Everything was great, however the room does not have an electric kettle, which would have been nice.

Gasthaus Dorfstube is located in a center of a picturesque village Holzgau. The host Martin was very helpful and all staff was very friendly. The room under the roof was newly renovated and beds were very comfy. The restaurant had a good dinner menue. The hanging bridge was in a reasonable walking distance. There are many hiking routs near there. We liked the one with the numerous short tunnels and breathtaking views into the canyon. It started 2 km away from Holzgau on parking lot Stockach.

Great recently renovated modern facility. The room was extremely comfortable, great bed, excellent modern bathroom amenities. Martin, the owner was extremely friendly, helpful and had a great sense of humor. He spoke perfect English and made us feel welcomed and comfortable. The restaurant was excellent with great choices and very reasonable prices. Wonderful breakfast as well. We would not hesitate to stay here again if we were ever in that area gain. Thank you Martin.

Super friendly proprietor who looked after us very well during our short stay. We were two friends travelling and sharing a twin room. As hotel was not full we were shown a selection of rooms so we could decide which was most comfortable for us. Food was great too!

Very little. Maybe a kettle and tea and coffee facilities in the room would have made it perfect.

We loved this place. It is family run and everything about the service and communication was fantastic. The room was very clean, modern and comfortable. Food was good. Great storage area and boot drying room for hikers. Excellent experience.

Great location , bus stop virtually meters away .Super clean, lovely modern rooms , traditional Austrian feel , excellent restaurant, had an amazing dinner .Staff were prompt , welcoming and engaging , a table at the restaurant had already been booked for us on the night we stayed so we wouldn’t miss out .Had special room to put hiking boots in to dry after hiking , everything planned and thought thru, just excellent

Dorfstube is a nice and well maintained boutique hotel in the beautiful village of Holzgau. The rooms are exceptionally clean, spacious and comfortable. The view is fantastic. Furthermore the restaurant of the hotel offers good quality typical food. We have enjoyed our short stay a lot. A special thank you to the friendly and hospitable landlord.

The staff at this hotel were very welcoming and friendly. My room looked as if it had been updated within the past couple of years, was very clean, comfortable, and was well lit. I appreciated the location, just off the main road at the end of the path to the Holzgau suspension bridge. Dinner was very good! I sat outside on the large patio with enough seating for about 25-30 people without feeling cramped. For breakfast I had an assortment of meat and cheese with fresh bread and coffee.

Location perfect; breakfast delicious w/ excellent selections; very good supper in restaurant. Host helped with maps and advice. English enough to make it work

This is just nitpicking but we like to have a microwave of some way of just eating in the room every now and then
