- We only stayed one night after finishing stage one (Oberstdorf – Holzgau) of our E5 hike. The room was spacious and had a balcony. We enjoyed dinner. We left before breakfast and the friendly staff arranged a lunch and organised a taxi to the materialseilbahn of the Memminger Hütte at 07:00.
Cons -
- The new rooms on the top floor are great, but the staircase to the loft bedroom is a bit hard unless you're young. Also, the pillows are not the best. I'd suggest bringing your own, if you're used to a slightly firmer pillow.
