Hotel Alpenhof in St Leonhard in the Pitz Valley features newly renovated rooms with a balcony, a spa area, and a sun terrace offering scenic mountain views. - The only downside is that one has to take a bus, or drive 15 mins to reach the ski area's. But that is a given fact, which one cannot change. At the same time, the distance from the ski slopes probably helps to make this nice hotel very affordable.
- Start of breakfast, (8am), made it difficult to impossible to catch the early ski buses, which are only every hour.Room safe was key locked. Every other hotel I have used has a keypad operated lock, so you don't have to carry a large key.
- Bed - we had a family room for 4 people with one double bed and one sofa-bed, that was very uncomfortable..
