Old charm. Very convenient to use the ski bus. Good breakfast, nice dinner.
Super cozy hotel with huge history. Calm and comfortable. Philip, the owner, is super friendly and energetic. If you’re looking for a clam place to relax, I’ll recommend this hotel
Welcoming and friendly staff, old style Tiroler house with atmosphere, quiet, next to skibus stop (bus runs every 15 min in the morning) and only a 10 min drive from the slopes.

Breakfast was exceptionalOwner is very friendly and kind. He loves his jobDinner menu was fantastic. Much much better than anticipatedPettneu much more picturesque than st anton. No need to stay at st anton. Every 15 min free bus to st anton ( bus stop was 30 m away from the hotel in pettneu)

A traditional, charming, comfortable hotel. Easy parking . Quiet village location with beautiful views.Delicious breakfast and evening meal, offering vegetarian/vegan options. We would stay here again.
Rather too much taxidermy (birds)on the staircase and in the breakfast room.
Beautiful view to the mountains from the room. Helpful staff. Cosy.
Check in was a bit short
Authentic and genuine connection by family operated hotel with great food and stunning scenery. We would love to come back for a longer stay to explore the many fun things to do.
Wonderful old building with beautiful views from the room. Breakfast was good, and the food in the evening restaurant was super. Staff was nice and Philip, the very friendly owner, was an excellent host who provided fantastic service! Hope to come back.
Good location just off the main road with a lot of natural beauty. Dinner and breakfast were good and the staff were very nice.
Our family room was quite dark and the furniture was dated.
If you like tyrol style house- thia is for you. The most cozy hotel we ever been. The staff was really frendly and nice. We came a little bit late but they still prepare us a dinner. The dinner and the breakfast was delicious.
Open, friendly, good English spoken, relaxed attentive attitude, characterful decor.
Schwarzer Adler was amazing! The staff made us feel like they truly care about us and were very friendly. All accommodations were very good as was the food as well. The place has a lot of history and character that is intriguing, and is very comfortable as well. Great view of the mountains from the rooms. Definitely one of the most unique places we have ever stayed!
Great location, extremely helpful staff
The only thing was I was a little unsure where to park but I arrived at 2.30am so it could well have been my tired user error!
Super nice staff and very cozy place overall. Ski buss operates just outside the front door and night busses worked really well as well. Transportation was no problem at all.
Hospitality, breakfast, dinner, cozy atmosphere, wellness
Beds were old, mattress needs to be replaced.
A gem of a hotel in a beautiful alpine village. The breakfast was exceptional in a lovely sunny room. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful. Everything you could want for an overnight stay.
Great hosts and a great place! For some reason I messed up with the booking specifying two persons instead of four but we were immediately provided with another appartment that accomodated all of us which was a life saver. The scenery is beautiful, the appartment is brand new and fully equipped, the cusine is delicious. There is also a nice playground our kids were absolutely happy about. Overall the great place to stay, hope to return back in the following year)
Everything was perfect.
