- We were tipped by a local to stay in Krone for its great hospitality and personal atmosphere. We enjoyed our stay very much! The owners took very good care of the building, renovating and renewing it in a splendid way using local traditions and knowledge (architect Bernardo Bader). Krone's kitchen is very good. Breakfast offered lots of choice and local products. Dinner was also great, with a thorough winelist and good suggestions. There are many hiking opportunities around the hotel and places to visit when you love modern architecture (like Werkhaus and bus stations Krumbachm and Salgenreute Chapel). Krone has a little library with lots of books about the local ways of wood building. Our dog was very welcome, so he rates Krone high as well.
