They were flexible with the dates, I needed to change in last days, got there late after hiking Zirbitzkogel from Reichenfels and it was really great to stay there afterwards. There are also signs leading to this place which is great when your phone is about to die.Breakfast is really good as well. The place has a really good vibe to it.

Shower is not the best but usable.

large hütte on the zibitzkogel hiking trails. we had massive room with classic mountain deco (think wood, checkered cloth, small windows looking at alpen meadows). comfy, clean, with very good self-produced Zin. breakfast is included and okay.

we were there summer season so the hütte was understaffed, only part of menu was available and kitchen operated short hours. also the woman who checked us in had no access to booking.com bookings and couldn't read english, so proving that we actually had a already-paid booking was awkward.

Wonderful friendly and helpful staff.Great location - it's a long way up a small road but worth the time.Homestyle food - the goulash is excellent.

The dorm rooms are a bit crowded, but at the price point it's acceptable.

For a hutte, this one is well equipped with sheets, blankets, hot showers, drinking water from the taps, plenty of electricity, toilets and washing rooms in every floor. The dinner was also above expectations, with adaptations to food our sensitivities. Also a Great spot to visit zirbitskogel, you can park your car there and the road is paved all the way.

The scenery and the property were really nice. The staff are very friendly and spoke English. The food here was very good also. Breakfast included so, good value for money.

The bed I stayed in was too small for myself (6ft) and it creaked whenever I moved so, I woke me up several times during the night.

It was super, in winter it's not easy to go up with a Vw Transporter without 4×4 traction. Nice place, nice peoples, great view.

We liked everything with our 2 night stay at the guesthouse. The staff were so nice and friendly. They went above and beyond to meet our demands since we were traveling with our 7 month old baby. They put a microwave in our room so we would be able to heat food for our baby 24/7. We had the three course dinner one night and the food was unbelievably good. We were told breakfast would be served at 8 o’clock and once we got downstairs in the mornings the breakfast was already on the table waiting for us. The nature is breathtakingly beautiful and the view from the bedroom as well. We can’t wait to go back. It’s such a peaceful and relaxing place and highly recommended if you’re traveling with kids. They have everything you need and they are extremely hospitable.

Good place for some hill walking. All was nice and clean, the breakfast was perfect. Friendly staff.

It was a pleasant stay with a nice breakfast. We shared a room with others and as there was a toddler with us, they were kind to offer us the available single room.

Due to the festival in the nearby village that day and some road damage, it was hard to get to our stay. We wouldn’t have made it if not for a kind villager driving in front of us to show us the detour.

Very friendly stuff. Perfect location for hiking and ski touring. Very good and tasty meals!

It’s in the middle or nowhere, which makes it even better. Remote is an understatement but once there, it’s a delight. Typically Austrian ski resort, wooden outside and inside. I was checked in my a young guy who was very pleasant and helpful. Food was nice, nothing fancy but good enough. Room was clean and just what I needed after having to sleep in my car the night before. I would definitely recommend. Thanks

Breakfast choices are limited, I went downstairs at 0820 and there was not much left so I had muesli and yoghurt.
