Pros +
- The buffet food was plentiful, and the quality was excellent. The staff were always eager to help.
- E-bikes and trails Kids club Food Buffett was great Pool
- Good location. Excellent kids amenities.
Cons -
- The beds were very uncomfortable, the mattresses were well past their prime, with a noticeable dip (canyon) in the middle. The hotel itself felt somewhat run-down. The children’s facilities (playground and pools) were too small for the hotel’s capacity. At it's peak use, it seems like there is one child per 0.25m2 of pool/playground.Considering the high price, the overall experience simply didn’t meet expectations. The quality and condition of the hotel do not justify the cost.
- Staff wasn’t always friendly Everything is quite old - rooms, gym equipment, etc
- Unfriendly staff.Diverse food, but really bad quality.Cold swimming pool and pool area.Definitely the name and the price do not follow the quality. Unfortunately…

Very comfortable stay with great facilities and plenty of space in the restaurant and spa areas. Rooms were a good size with a good bathroom and comfortable beds and warm with a bonus of a balcony with great views. Great spa and wellness areas and restaurant was superb with great variety and high quality food that was themed with so much choice. The staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient.
Coming off the ski slope for lunch was time consuming as needed to store boots and kit and change shoes before so lost ski time. Whilst the outside hotel bar is on the slopes it wasn’t part of the inclusive package. The bar occasional was short of seating space.
Hotel is in a perfect location (you ski into the skiroom), really kind staff, rooms are clean, everything is clean. They have a huge playroom, pool for little ones and also a big one. Food is yummy, there is so much choice it's almost too much.
Nothing not to like.
Bad
It was the worst trip of my life. We went skiing for the first time with a one-year-old child and we spent the last two days of the trip sick in the room due to the stomach flu that was prevalent in the hotel. I think we could avoid this situation if common spaces such as children's play clubs were cleaned regularly. I never once saw a cleaner in the children's common spaces. Additionally, lack of help from the staff in case of illness - problems with taking food to the room. Embarrassing value for money.
Ski instructor for kids Mitzy was absolutely fantastic teaching our daughter to ski! She had such a great approach—patient, encouraging, and fun—which made the whole experience enjoyable and confidence-boosting. We couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. Thank you, Mitzy!”
The hotel is really nice, spa is excellent and the staff are super friendly and helpful. It is a great location for ski lift to one side of the resort.
Food is fairly average not as good as sister hotel cristallo where we have previously stayed . Bar could do with a bit of updating as seating is a bit plasticky.
Super location, perfect food, very nice staff. In general great place to stay with kids. The food was 5*
All ok. Just the interior of the hotel is not the newest but it doesnt affect the great experience:)
Staff was really nice and friendly, everything was great,
watter in normal area pool was cold, watter in naked area could be warmer, diner could have more meat
I really liked the food; there was a wide variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
I didn’t that the hotel is located directly on the black and red slopes, and it primarily advertises itself as a family-friendly hotel. However, we had to carry the kids, along with their ski equipment, to ski school, which was about a 15-minute walk. Additionally, I wasn’t satisfied with the level of cleanliness in the rooms. Perhaps it’s a coincidence, but all the children in our group came down with a stomach virus causing severe vomiting. When we called the reception for help with cleaning the room, we often had to wait for hours while dealing with sick kids.
Location
Very uncomfortable fold out bed, the staff barely speaking english or german. Poor food quality.
very child-oriented, good food variety, nice sauna area
not all the rooms are the same size-wise and there is big variation depending on what part of the hotel you stay. Some rooms are under the ski deposits and it is extremely noisy during the day (kids can’t sleep at noon). they have an absurd tip policy that they ask you if you want to pay 10 euros per night for tips across the hotel. This also fine printed in the check in form but we did not get this verbally until the check out (we tipped where it was required before anyway). Reception manager is borderline unfriendly.
The fact that is close to the ski lift.
- very expensive for what you get- rooms not equiped as described ( no carpet on the floor which is horrible when you have a crawling baby)- we got 2 separate rooms on different floors which was not indicated in the booking- the toilet has a heated floor but the bathroom doesn't- beds and pillows are uncomfortable- the hotel staff does absolutely nothing to regulate the car chaos infront of the hotel that happens during check-in and check-out- the kids pool area is way to cold- often issues with the key cards (they decode on their own and you get locked out of your room), happend 6 times to us in 4 days- only german programs are available on the tv
Everything from check-in to check-out went great, even late check-out at the end to enjoy the wellness. Ski service to sharpen the edges during lunch break and exceptional food selection made this an excellent trip.
Wellness opens at 10AM but saunas were not turned on yet. The later checkout could have been provided at no cost iso for payment.
Location is perfect for skiing, everything is locateted inside the hotel you don't have to go anywhere to rent skies, or to find ski school for your kids. Nearest ski lift is next to hotel but it didnt work all the time due to weather. Hotel is very family friendly and there is a lot of fun activities for kids. Spa is very nice, clean and very well maintained.
The food is really amazing! Even though it's all inclusive so you have buffets they make a lot of the food fresh and you have so many options! Also nice: you have your own table in the restaurant during your stay so you don't have to look if there's space left to take a seat.Clean and nice designed hotel. Really love the design style of the room, modern and with a lot of storage space for all your clothes. Very comfortable beds, with a nice balcony. Quite rooms so no noise from the neighboors. Good service. I really enjoyd my stay!
Limited wellness area for kids to only certain days of the week. It can easily mean your kids are not allowed to go there at all if you book shorter stay. Not easy access to ski area if the hotel side lift is closed. Which apparently happens quite often.
Clean rooms, comfortable beds, really friendly staff, ski from hotel, good food
Food is very good, everytime fresh and great selection. Dining areas are smartly devided so even there are tousend kids, the level of noise is o.k. . Very good bar and bartenders very attentive. The skiroom is equipped with smart lockers for your gear. Plus hotel made all effort that your transition from hotel on slope is smooth. Some staff very nice - some staff still cant accept fact that hotel changed their focus on eastern Europe clients and its difficult for them to serve. Hotel and rooms are clean and generally the equiptment works. Kids pool and area is fun. For kids obviously :)Check in easy, check out easy. If you are with kids its worth - especially off season for reasonable price. For anyone else, I would go to another Falk. Hotel and spa is clean. Very clean.
The hotel itself is old style and is operated by “old style” management. Just passive entertainment/service no modern trends. We had the family room (old style because new/renovated rooms were already sold on booking). The bathroom is terrible - small that you cannot fully open door and walk in. You sneak through the gap basically. Its almost imposible to enter it and if two adults people try to use it one stands in shower. The hotel is maze with very narrow claustrophobic corridors with very poor navigation signs and system - kids must be accompanied all time otherwise they get lost. According to my opinion it would need major structural reconstruction to bring it to other Falkensteiner standards therefore I guess hotel oriented on “estern Europe clients” with lower standards expectation - majority were Polish, Czech, Slovak and Hungarian. The kids area looks big but there is not much entertainment after-all. At 9pm its full of glasses half full of all-inclusive alcohol and drunk people playing pingpong. The ski rental is “joke” - real joke and again rude local guy with no sense for customer service. The spa area is too small and nothing extra fancy. The concept that cooling pool is in centre converts every sauna cabin in genitals observation deck. Top - “Sauna-master” this guy is an idiot xxx Pure idiot. The pools were “cold” - around 26 degs. For kids o.k. , but apres ski relax - no. Kids pool is fun, the kids enjoyed their time there. But there is no lifeguard on duty and the area is two-floor and some people (mostly adults) tend not to respect the pool-rules. I would appretiate someone overlook this area.
