Spa Resort Geinberg

The spa resort is very well maintained and very clean. The sauna world is an amazing place, and the classes are a great experience. The staff are friendly and speak many languages, including English. If the staff did not speak English, they kindly asked people around to help translate. We learnt a little of the German language, and they did not judge us for trying. I'd advise learning the German language before travelling it helps. The beds were comfortable. The rooms were modern.

The information at the front desk on arrival was very poor. We did not give much information about the resort and how it's ran to help us with learning what to do. It would be good for reception to inform guests on this as people may travel from different cultures and may not know how to use the facilities. There was not much entertainment wise during the week, for example, not much evening entertainment or events, the fitness programme was a little on the small side. It would have been nice to have more yoga classes or organised walks around the area. It would have been nice to have a kettle and a selection of teas and coffees in the room.

Huge complex with many types of saunas and therm pools, the water is really good and warm. There was also friendly free shuttle service that took us to and from the Geinberg train station as well as for the restaurant at dinner time. Rooms are very spacious complete with ammenities.

Check In - Check Out process a bit slow, there was a big queue with people waiting.

Thermal water were the best

For us not being Austrian ,english were the most preferred language as the international language but the staff were rude and not talking to us in english,even for the dinner the menu was only in Dutch language.

I was traveling for work and I was really impressed the way the staff went out of there way to help me, especially since there was a language issue. I thought by having both Breakfast and Dinner was a plus. I did not have to leave the property to get dinner. My overall stay was great.

I did not like how small the parking spaces were. I can see people scratching each other cars, and when its a rental that can be expensive.

Delicious breakfast buffet; great variety, love the fresh orange-squeezer-mashine, perfect coffee, home-made omeletts. Very attentive and wonderfull staff.

The therms are great.
