Pros +
- They accept pets and the room was clean
- It was very convenient, check in was easy, it had a restaurant and dinner on the first floor that was great, we had a great breakfast. We stooped there on our way to Portugal.
- The rooms were perfect, a good size, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom great and it was extremely clean.
Cons -
- The worst was the "welcome" provided by the staff. No smile, no information. When we asked if there is space to store our bicycles the answer was just a "no". We were here on a Friday which is their day off. You can't even have a coffee during the day. The room was super small. As we had to take our bicycles to the room we had no space at all. We wouldn't recommend this hotel unfortunately.
- The only thing we didn't like was that when we went down for breakfast on Sunday the waiter kept forgetting everybody's order and as everyone had gone down at 9:00 when the cafe opened it was busy and the one member of staff couldn't really cope. The toaster wasn't big enough to deal with all the toast people wanted so we were offered other things as it would take so long, then when I said what we wanted instead, there were not enough napolitanas de chocolate and what there was, was obviously left over from the day before. The day before he asked me to help him carry the order to the table in the outside area when I was already sitting down. I don't personally mind, however, others might. He then spilled the orange juice as he was carrying it.
- Receptionist in the bar was not at all friendly or helpful. Restaurant was ok, but the one across the road was really good and excellent value. Couldn't have the windows open due to the amount of flies coming in.

Very nice location, good parkings even for bigger vehicles. Awesome Food options for an extremly good rate. Many awesome hiking spots nearby. I highly recommend to stop by.
Location excellent for a relaxing few days away. Close to the Portuguese border. Plenty of free parking on site.

Clean, good WiFi. Lovely bathroom with nice big shower
All good
Flexible check in time; breakfast and dinner included in one low price and we were able to switch dinner for lunch; friendly and efficient staff.
O Pereiro is a good place to stop if you are walking the Via de La Plata/Camino Sanbres, but beware as this hotel is in O Periero de Arriba and there is a steep climb from the Camino to the hotel. The bonus is a downhill walk to A Gudiña to start your next day. The hotel is new, everything works as it should and is incredibly clean - if slightly austere. The staff are superb, especially the manageress, and the restaurant serves good food at a very reasonable price and is therefore very popular. The beds are very comfortable, the bedrooms have space age heating and are well insulated from the restaurant and public areas so are quiet.
Three comments - the shower is very hot but the water pressure is not tremendously high, the dinner service doesn´t start until 9.00pm (which for many people is too late for the portion sizes and the rich sauces that accompany many of the dishes) and on Fridays the hotel/bar is closed from 9.00am until the evening so it is necessary to breakfast early as limited supplies are available and when the food is gone it's gone (the bar being a very popular spot for local workers to breakfast on their way to work).
Comfort and facilities were good. Cleanliness and the staff were very approachable
Noise from other room doors slamming, noisy echoy corridore - the only thing that let it down
Room and bathroom clean and comfortable. Parking just in front, bar is the lobby.
restaurant open at 9pm. Food is basic. No veggie options
The property seemed brand new. Room was clean and comfortable.
The air in the area was foul, there was a very strong and unpleasant smell. We couldn't guess the source of it. There was no air con in the room and we couldn't open the window at night, because of the horrible smell outside. It was too hot to sleep comfortable, otherwise nothing wrong with the facilities.
Good food and service, comfortable after a long walk
A little impersonal, but not unfriendly
Having a restaurant and bar on site is super convenient especially considering the location. The restaurant staff were extremely friendly and the 3 course meal for 13 euros was a great value.
It was very hard to sleep because of too much noise. And it was mainly the kitchen crew after their shift let out at night and the clean up crew in the morning who were making too much noise.
Passable
The breakfast was awful, we asked what can we have for a breakfast and a girl couldn’t normal tell us what can we have, children were hungry, a girl told that children can’t have one more croissant( that was the first time I saw so awful situation(
Close to motorway. Awesome price and nice staff. Nice affordable restaurant
Bar/receptionist not so service minded. No hand soap in room and non available when I asked for it in reception.
clean, updated, modern bathroom, nice serving staff
room was small
Great value room basic but all I expected for the price. The restaurant is fantastic value but be aware doesn't start serving until 21 00.
The property is over 1km off the Camino and is up a very steep hill. The lady on reception was very unpleasant and seemed to not have heard of Booking.com.
We have stayed here a few times as it is convenient on the Santiago to Madrid drive back. Always spotlessly clean and comfortable. And close to the highway but without the noise.
Absolutely nothing.
The area is nice and the view is great. Food in the restaurant was delicious.
The room was quite small and warm
