Stunning Castilian countryside setting and exceedingly hospitable hosts. Simple yet gorgeous and charming. The dinner was excellent traditional dishes. Do not hesitate to stay here.

Breakfast sadly was just a bit sparse. We were only given one piece of toast and one cup of coffee we were not offered an other cup or a top up.We could not see the lady to ask for more after she had served us she seemed to disappear. There was some cake on the table but we don't eat that for breakfast. An other piece of toast and maybe something savory like ham and or cheese wouldve been appreciated.And an other cup of coffee.
I chose this property because I was having positive experiences with casa rural and small B&B type properties while walking the Camino de Madrid. It was the closest of its type to Santervas de Campos that I could find. It totally exceeded my expectations. Jesus and the staff have built and are operating a true rural hotel with the characteristics to match. I took lunch, drinks, dinner, and breakfast at the property (full board plus). It was all terrific and offered a very good value. My room was modern and fully appointed, but still rustic (i.e., warm rather than cold atmosphere). I enjoyed the rural areas of the Camino de Madrid and the mesetas. This was a great choice for a final stay before intersecting the Camino Frances.For Camino pilgrims - note that Jesus arranged special transport to/from Santervas for me so that I could get from and back to the exact point on the Camino to continue my journey. It was very easy and worth the effort if you are looking for an experience like this.
