O Palleiro do Pe do Forno

I had an excellent stay. The dinner and breakfast was amazing. The room was comfortable and clean. Great location as very close to the Mirador.

Everything was really good, great location, cosy family hotel, very good dinner available, nice and helpful hosts

The breakfast was good, but a bit too basic, could be more variety of choices, for example at least few slices of cheese and/or meats could be added as a choice

Quiet hotel with excellent access, free parking, close to Las Médulas and mining area viewpoint parking lots. We were aware the corridor was outside with no elevator. Room was nice with air conditioning, walk in shower and closet. Very clean! Dinner in restaurant was inspired by old Roman recipes from local area and recreated by hostess / owner and her husband deliciously. Isabel the owner is very sociable and energetic in making sure all is good with all guests so we had a very family friendly feeling.

The place is run by a huge personality, Sra Isabel, who takes care about everything, and has even painted the room walls using beautiful motifs. The bar is nice and the restaurant outstanding. Also the rooms are nice and warm. And there is really a lot to do in the area. A warm recommendation to Senõra Isabel and O Pelleiro do Pe do Forno ❣️

All the place is beautiful and is close to a mirador.

It has a bar but we couldn't eat until dinner. But the food is delicious.

Lovely hotel with a friendly host. We had a comfy night and enjoyed a delicious meal at the restaurant. The building itself has been nicely renovated but you can see the history everywhere. Only a few minutes drive to the carpark for the viewpoint over the Roman mines. It would have been nice to have some tea and coffee making facilities in the room, but as it’s a one second walk to the restaurant next door where you can get a hot drink this was not a huge deal for us.

Staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly. Food was exceptional. Lovely room with beautiful view.

O Palleiro do Pe do Forno is located at walking distance to the best viewpoint of the Las Médulas. Isa, our host went out of her way to let us feel welcome and provide tips about what to see and in what sequence. The room was comfortable and our dinner delicious, all for a very good price.

There was nothing to complain about, hence the 10 out of 10 rating.

Our second stay here. Isabel was charming as ever and is wonderful at giving tourist information.

Would be great to have an access to a cattle, to get hot water for tea or coffee whenever you need it

Isabel is nice and helps you if you need anything. The food was really good. Everything was extremely clean.

Isabel is an amazing host, did everything to make us feel welcome and comfortable, which was especially valuable for us because we were travelling with our 1,5 year old baby. Breakfast was really good and plentiful. Dinner was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Isabel.

A very nice lady who runs the hotel, very good tasty food, a success. It was quiet, rooms were cosy.

- Isa is a fantastic host. She goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and provides fantastic hiking advise.- Location is fantastic. Walking distance from Las Medulas viewpoint and caves.
