Hotel Río Cabia

My room didn't have a windows. When plce is closed you are locked in! Hot water took at least 5 minutes to come up....But what do you expect for $45

Since we were on the road, it was perfect...Quiet comfortable clean plus food was pretty good

Great for a one night stay on the road. Well connected to the area's main highways and next to a gas station. Very good staff and basic services.

Traveling with motorcycle private parking overpriced …. Only open 6:30am in need of leaving earlier is a problem.

Stayed with wife an d dog for 1 night on way back from Portugal . I would stay there again

Supposed to have a restaurant but it was closed. Surly staff. Charge of 10 € for a dog a bit exhorbitant

Perfectly situated next to the motorway

No soundproofing and was kept awake all night by staff sleeping below the room. Was unable to leave the hotel to sleep in the car. Although there was a phone available to assist no one came to unlock the door. Not ideal ahead of a 800 mile drive the following day. Eventually fell asleep once the staff had woken up for their shift

Location, availability, bathroom, parking

The wall next to the bathroom in room 110 was very degradated and with a lot of mold.The outside smelled like fried food, not very pleasant.There was a dirty T-shirt in the locker, probably forgotten by one of the previous guests, meaning that the locker wasn't most likely cleaned.The worst part was that the staff would not allow us (me and also other guests) to leave the place before he opened the reception at 06:30. Via the telephone on the reception, I had to demand to leave for several times before he came from his bed and opened the door, but not before starting a needless discussion and acting extremely upset. I left at 05:45 but he would have us all closed there until he was a available to open the door. I don't blame him, the man deserves his time to sleep and rest. However, the system just does not work. Anyone should be able to leave the place whenever they want.

Was locked in a corridor, I needed to leave early but fire exit and other end door locked with a phone to ring for assistance and no exit till 6.30! Despite being a road side motel.. They did not want to let me out for a further hour n half!!! So had to complain to get out… to access my vehicle to continue my journey.. Talk about Hotel California ?

LoaLocation was good just off main route and fuel station 100yds from entrance.Air conditioning was there and made a noise but did not cool the room.Shower no pressure and flow very poor. One very small bar of soap and shower gel definitely not enough, luckily we had some with us.TV was very old but worked. Initially room looked clean but was not. Shower and basin not very clean and needs replacing.Cafeteria not very enticing and we were told the only things available were a few types of rolls and cakes.There was a parking place in covered garage available (approximately 12 places) which was good and we took one downside was a cost of €11.The staff seemed as if they really didn’t want to be there and the customer was the last thing on their mind.The hotel has a lot of potential and is desperately in need of a refurbishment.

The receptionist was very rude, did not speak any other language than Spanish.he oppened the door for us , then started from what I undersood he was expecting us to pay again, i showed him our booking details, then he started pushing us out of the Hotel then closed the door living us outside.yhis means that we booked and paid for the hotel but we have not been allowed in, then we had to find another hotel to stay in.I still did not get my refund or compensation.

Close to main road.

Lack of sockets in room and no remote for tv.

Will never use this place again has to be the worst unfortunately I’ve ever used

When booked it stated there was wifi available on arrival unwelcoming & informed no wifi if I had of known would not have booked a room When booking stated there was air con it wasn’t working very abrupt staff felt unwelcome

The location and the cleanliness

.A Saturday evening and the restaurant was closed.The only food available was tapas

Very convenient location.Offered meals at a good price.

When the café closed we were locked in the building and unable to check if our pets ,who were in the car,were o.k.

Perfect location and easy to find off our route through Spain. All very clean and convenient and good facilities. The meal we had was very nice and tasty. Bed was comfy. Well heated as the weather was cold.

Perhaps could have done with a little more time to decide upon our evening meal as we didn't really get the chance to study the menu. But the lady who served us was very pleasant. Felt we were being a little rushed.

Due to a violent storm there was a power cut at the hotel. However we were able to get something to eat when the power came back on after about 3 hrs.

Old hôtel right next to motorway and services. Hard beds, noise, room very shabby
