Delightful and romantic tiny town. Pool, gardens and resort atmosphere well appreciated. Ice pool invigorates and rejuvenates!!!
Very comfortable. Beautiful garden and swimming pool (we didn't swim though). Easy to find and is close to the main restaurant for dinner and breakfast.
Squeaky bathroom door (they fixed it but then it wouldn't stay closed).
Exceptionally Beautiful hotel, historically well preserved, very nice and helpful staff
No elevator to our section of hotel so we had to pay extra for bigger room on ground floor. Stairs were steep and circular to second floor in our section. No frigo bar. No air conditioning. Dim lights
Grand old historic summer home. We did the wine cellar option and loved it. It was at a nearby winery was welcoming and has many nice local products for sale.
The top floor room was quite warm with only a fan for cooling. The bed was a bit too firm.
Lovely decor . Pleasant garden
No air condition. No restaurant
The whole place was lovely; wonderfully presented and interesting old building. Our room was clean and comfortable. The pool and garden area were lovely too.
We would have liked an evening meal option as there are limited restaurant options nearby and most were in the neighbouring village; unfortunately on the evening of our visit many were closed (Tuesday). Even a cold supper would have been good as the bar and outdoor dining area are very nice places to sit.
Absolutely stunning hotel with exquisite attention to detail from furnishings to decor. The pool was cold but the perfect end to a day of walking on the Camino. The outside patio is a wonderful place to lounge. This is one of best hotels I’ve been to in Spain.
Spectacular building and decor. Every detail was thoughtful. Friendly staff and great breakfast. Comfortable beds and bathroom. The pool and garden was also lovely after a long day of walking. I only wish the hotel offered dinner!
Nicely decorated hotel, easy to park
Avoid Room VI — reeks of cigarette smokeI arrived late in the evening, exhausted after a long day, and was assigned Room VI. The smell of cigarette smoke was so overwhelming that it was impossible to stay in the room. I immediately went to reception, but was told that all rooms in my category were occupied. The only solution offered was an upgrade for an additional €30. I had no choice but to accept, as staying in that room was unbearable.Make sure you don’t get Room VIBreakfast is mediocre for such a price, no decent bread
Very nice facility. Older building but up-to-date. Town was nice, but sparse.
Not many options for dining. We’re unable to have breakfast as we did not reserve in advance.
Tastefully decorated throughout with antiques. Beautiful lounge area looking on to a lovely garden. The hotel manager went out of his way to help me with my reservation for the next night.
A lovely hotel, very comfortable. The pool was very welcome after a hot day's walk on the Camino. Breakfast was great, served at our table -reasonably priced at 10 euro.
Beautiful property a nice treat for our Camino walk! Oscar was very helpful. The only restaurant Bar Seville is run by a very nice family who feed the locals as well as the Pilgrims.
Lovely bedroom. Garden and pool areas were very nice and comfortable, with plenty of seating and shade availalble.Very helpful staff.
Ideally hotel could have done with offering meals in the evening, even if a limited choice. Having said that we enjoyed walking up the road and having a meal at the local cafe/bar.The hotel bar was open all afternoon, and again offering a choice (even if very limited) of snacks would have been a useful and much appreciated enhancement. No wifi was available for last 3 days while they were trying to fix a problem.
What a Magnificent Hotel, with the original stone floor from 400 yrs ago.Lovely Vintage Furnishings to top it all?
The price, but considering the luxuriousness of it all, it was worth it
A lovely hotel with excellent lounge, garden and pool area. Classic stylish room with large bathroom
Limited ventilation through room even with window open
Superb breakfast that was varied, health, fresh and delicious.
A dinner serving would be nice as no quality options available locally
