About

Palacio De Trasvilla is in Escobedo De Villafufre, in the Cantabrian countryside, a 30-minute drive from Santander Airport. It features an outdoor pool, and offers free parking and free Wi-Fi. The hotel is a converted 18th-century noble house, decorated in traditional, elegant style. You will find wooden beams and stone walls throughout. All heated rooms at the Trasvilla have a flat-screen TV, wooden floors and countryside views. The private bathroom comes with a hairdryer, bathrobe and slippers. The Palacio has a café-bar, and there is a lounge where you can relax in front of the fireplace. The hotel is surrounded by nature. You may see foxes or badgers. There are vultures and falcons in the area too.

A very nice step back in time, with a really nice and friendly host. The building is 300 years old with character, so be aware that it is not a modern hotel. But we went for the old-world look and we weren’t disappointed. Highly recommended for anyone who likes the quality of life. We’d definitely visit again.

    Nothing, it was excellent

A lovely house, personally restored by Alfredo the owner with exceptional craftsmanship and filled with amazing antique furniture.

It would be helpful to fit a WiFi booster for the upper floor

A treat to stay here! Beautiful room and grounds. We really enjoyed it. No restaurant no site, but we found one nearby. Delicious and generous breakfast.

Wonderful location and facilities, in the middle of nature and in close proximity to visit the caves, Santander and surroundings. The breakfast is simple, fresh and honest: excellent!

One small note is the shower, which as a tall person, is a bit puzzling to enter and exit…

I stayed only one night but literally I was in love with this beautiful Palacio, it was a really nice experience.it can bring you back to the 18th century by one second.

if the temperature of light in the bathroom could match the same as in the bedroom, that will be perfect.
