Pros +
- The receptionist was lovely and very helpful, the room was just what I needed
- Great location for a one night stop, plenty of space to park larger vehicles, dated room but comfortable.
- The 4 star rating is probably inflated, but for the price, expect a 2-3 star hotel, next to the highway that’s good for a night’s sleep and a shower.
Cons -
- There were no facilities in the room to make a cup of coffee
- Breakfast starts to late for a working day and very limited.
- Cleanliness could’ve been better, squeaky doors, beds are just ok for comfort.

A last minute overnight choice. Was fine really, just a bit old fashioned in its vibe. The breakfast was great.
Excellent welcome on arrivalQuick service in restaurantGood parking availability
Lots of noise transmission from other roomsWoke early due to people departing (05.00 onwards)
Nice hotel. Great decor
Evening meal not good. Staff serving not much better
The downstairs is very nice. It looks like an elegant hotel in the cafeteria y restaurant.
This is not a four star hotel. The rooms are dirty and very plain, unadorned. We had a junior suite and the "living room" part had a couch and nothing more. No TV, no tables, nothing more. Very, very plain. Disappointing.
The location - you can see the hotel from the approaching main road.
Firstly, this hotel, contrary to what it says is NOT pet friendly. I have stayed in 5 star hotels in Spain where they always let me take the dog to a terrace or a quiet area so I can eat and drink with my husband. In this hotel, the rude waiter walked over to me and pointed to the door and said "out". That was it! But I was told it was pet friendly and charged for my dog.Nearly all the staff looked grubby - their shirts looked like it was quite a while since they had been laundered and ironed. The food in the dining room was disgusting. I ordered pizza and what arrived bore no relation to pizza. There was a large group of construction workers staying - very pleasant people - but at 0422 they all started to get up for work and the noise was intolerable. So we hardly slept. The beds were ok but no duvets - just old blankets. It was the worst place we stayed in three months away - the very idea that it is a 4* hotel is a joke. It is barely 1*. Truly awful. Avoid it.
adaquate for an overnight trip
oldish hotel with sound proofing and plumbing deficienies
Close to the motorway. Staff are nice.
Quite and old hotel, very dark wood. Evening food was just ‘OK’, but breakfast was better.
People who were working there.
I have no idea how people can say that it is clean! It was absolutely horrible. In our room the toilet seat was yellow, and everywhere in the bathroom was short black hair. The shower was dirty. There were no properly linens. I asked to change the room and I’ve checked 2 more but it was still in a horrible and dirty condition. My wife just asked for a cleaning liquids and cleaned the bath by herself before using.
Good breakfast and dinner. Excellent staff.
Internet connection
Great location only 2 hour drive from Santander ideally place if you need a stop off and at a very good price
The walls were to thin you could here lots of sounds during the night from other rooms and everytime someone flushed the toilet . Bed was also to hard for my liking ( but that is just a personal choice )
The location is perfect for usdriving to Portugal from Bilbao ferry port. The rooms were adequate, gettimg tired and could have been cleaner.
Our evening meal in the restaurant was very poor , probably our worst ever dining experience.Such a shame because the location is perfect and very easy to find with lots of parking spaces. This was our sixth stop over at this Hotel, first for 2yrs and the standards have definately dropped, particularly the catering.
It is clean, cimfortable and stuff are nice. Good for one night stay.
Easily accessible location, secure parking and helpful staff. Food was reasonable and good value
Very tired hotel. Nothing worked. No WiFi, duff power sockets and steam powered aircon has clearly not worked for decades.
The location
We only got about 2 hours sleep due to people having sexual activities and laughing and fooling around.
Bed ok Clean ok Very noisy over night could not sleep Breakfast to expensive Parking no chance full car left on main road. Staff not helpful.
Staff were really nice. Kitchen had closed for the afternoon when we arrived but the lady at the bar still made us a toastie and salad.
The aircon kept the room at a good temp but we would have liked it a few degrees colder but it a fixed temp. We would stay again.
breakfast was reasonably OK. Fresh fruit en good selection of pastery
airco cannot be controlled individually in the room. It was bloody hot outside and room airco could not be cooled comfortably. Inside the loby and resto a nice 18/19 degrees. In the room NOT colder than 23 degrees .TOO HOT TO SLEEP.
