Cons -
- Everything was great from 1 to 10 I give them a 10 +++
- It was too far off the Camino del Norte for us - we should have checked closer. It’s an older hotel…very dark, dim, old feeling.

The hotel was ok, on the camino de santiago way. very nice staff
The location: next to the street, a pretty noisy area.Price: quite expensive for what it had to offerAir co: at this price you had to add 2 euros to use the air co for 20-30 minutes. Or this should be included in this price.
This is my second time staying here while walking the Camino del Norte. It is very clean and has a bath tub. There are many restaurants nearby and a laundromat. A perfect and relaxing place to stay.
The staff were very pleasant. The hotel had an elevator. The storm windows made the room virtually soundproof. The pillow was not fat like most of the hotels, but slimmer and much more comfortable. The bed was also very comfortable. Several restaurants within one minute walk. I ate dinner at La Isla and the waiter was very attentive and polite and food was good.
There was an air conditioning unit on the wall that required payment to use. I didn’t use it, but the green light was glowing all the time and it was really bothersome at night. See the picture.
Shower was very badBed was noisyBar next door was loud very late
Budget hotel, near to the motorway with it's own car park, ideal stopover location prior to getting the ferry back to the UK.Several places to eat and drink close by.
Great staff.Not expensive.
The rooms are announced with Air Conditioner however you need to pay to use it. It’s not fair at all. 1E for 2 hours of AC (check picture). The bath don’t work properly. The top one was broken. In the background of the hotel there is a small bar. You may get noise until 2AM.
The bed was comfortable.
You had to pay to use the aircon. The croissant that cost (4€ with a coffee and juice) was weeks old and had no butter or jam, couldn't get any English news channels on TV, the restaurant wasn't open. The toilet seat was crooked.
Its clean
The river at the back smell and the traffic makes too much noise
Proximity to the port, easy access via A67 road.Clean, tidy, friendly helpful staff
Not much: hotel a bit noisy, but not much of an issue. Limited on site parking means you might have to use the office parking next door
Hot. Terrible value for money.
Room was very hot despite it being a cool day outside. Opening the window did nothing. Had to pay with coins for each hour of air conditioner use which is horrifically stingy for the price. Hotel isn’t very secure - no way of preventing the public from coming up to your room. They were still cleaning the room (and whole floor) upon arrival post check out time. There was no toilet paper.
Staff was nice. Restaurants nearby good.
Boring hotel and breakfast for the price.
OK for an over night stay but the bar was not open neither was the restaurant in the evening . Lucky there was some where down the road to eat and a bar across the road. Breakfast, no hot food. Every thing was cold and not much there , It said breakfast till 10am we arrived at 9.15 am. Wasn't very clean as people had left it untidy and there was no one around to ask. Parking was outside the hotel and private but it cost us 12 euros for the night and this was not mention on the booking.Staff didn't speak English and my Spanish was not great but we manage.
Room clean and tidy ,shower was lose on the wall and I couldn't work out how to use the hose / head on it. Clean towels and a few toiletries. No tea or coffee in room, would have been nice. The view was over looking an untidy yard and the main road . Didn't hear the road and we slept well. Not sure we would return the area was a bit run down but it was near the Santander port.
Quiet and clean. Good aircon. Nothing out of place.
It was relatively close to the Camino which was good for our group. It was clean and well maintained.
Front desk not as attentive as we would have liked (re: Wi-Fi password and charge for AC) but not huge issues.
It was very clean and very comfortable. It was close to some good restaurants, cafes, cash machine and laundromat 5 min walk away.
They wanted me to pay with cash instead of card which was a minor inconvenience.
clean and well kept and comfortable bed.
spacious, clean room. On a fairly busy road but two sets of double glazing so we did not hear the traffic. We were walking the Camino del Norte and it was a short diversion to stop here overnight
