- The staff at this hotel are wonderful. The building is unique and the room was very spacious and comfortable. So was the bed. Walking distance to the supermarket and was able to park right outside the room. So nice they also accepted my dog. There is a really pretty river that runs behind the hotel and short driving distance to see more of Bilbao. I would much rather stay in this hotel than in Bilbao or the generic hotels outside of town. The small breakfast was a nice bonus.
- With no prior communication to inquire about an arrival time, or a response to my question about the bed type available, the front desk called me at 19:48, as I was boarding my flight, the evening of my arrival to ask when I would be checking in. I told them 2330, and he informed me that was not possible, and I would have to cancel my reservation. I had to scramble just before my flight took off to cancel this reservation and find a new hotel in the area for the night. When I make a reservation at a place with the word hotel in its name, I assume check-in is available 24 hours, unless told otherwise. Rather unprofessional that the check-in times are restricted, but that was not communicated to me until just a few hours prior to my arrival.
- Most importantly I could stay with my two big dogs at no extra charge. The basic breakfast was included. Coffee was freshly done on request by the owner. The communication with the owner was excellent as we were stuck in lengthy delay and arrived really late. I was assured that someone will great us on a very late arrival. I really appreciated it.

They are very dog friendly and human friendly. Did not charge any extra for our two small dogs. Very good value for money. Our Spanish is not great so communication can be difficult. But they made us feel welcome. Paid extra for breakfast. Very good coffee. 40min walk into town or 8 min drive. Goods hosts. Plenty of parking

Location to the highway was good and allowed for us to get a quick start for onward travel. Clean and quite big rooms.
This is a no-frills hotel. The shower was faulty (but manageable) and I didn't look like hair dryer had been used or even cleaned for 30+ years.

The shower in room 100 needs to be replaced as it is broken.
The size of the room was great. Very clean. The housekeeping came in the room every single day and overall the entire place was very clean and tidy.
The location is a tiny bit remote however 25 min away from Bilbao by car or train and 10 min away from Laudio.
Stayed one night as great to get to ferry back to UK next day. Basic but comfortable, coffee and breakfast, but no bar or snack bar. Very relaxed and friendly and car park on premises

Lovely location and view. Building is absolutely amazing
Poor lighting in the room. No electric points to be able to charge phones or tablets. No facilties for disabled person to have a shower.( the shower unit required having to climb into the bath.)
