Hotel Finca Aldabra

The location was excellent, with a view over the valley facing Granada. The hotel itself is charming and homely.The hosts do everything they can to ensure guests have a wonderful experience.

Had a very enjoyable 2 night stay. The owner offered a very warm welcome. The room was nice with comfortable bed, hair dryer & kettle (with tea & coffee) available in the room. Pool & outside terrace area looked very nice but we had rain so could use them. Lovely continental breakfast & drinks available on an honesty basis. There is also the use of a microwave if you wish to bring in your own food. Great location for exploring the Sierra Nevada & Granada area. Very pretty local village with several lovely traditional Spanish restaurants to choose from.

A wonderful welcome, attention to the customers at all times. Kindness and friendliness. The breakfast is excellent, and the room available to take his own meals. The situation at the entrance of Sierra Nevada is a very good point : not to far from Grenada and quiet

Everything was perfect

Very kind landlady, calm and relaxing environment of the finca, we appreciated much the pool in the garden, beautiful balcony next to our room, sufficient parking options on the property, and the finca is in a reachable distance from Granada.

Very little space in the rooms to organize our stuff and to open our suitcases, no options to hang or store sth, only a very tiny table which was not apt for working. Also, the breakfast room where we were allowed to eat sth did not offer the possibility to cook or prepare food properly (e.g. no sink available). This would have been quite important for us though, given that the finca was in a rural area without many food options or even proper supermarkets. Every time I plugged in sth in the power outlet besides my bed we had an electrical short circuit (no more energy until we switched the button again).

Most polite host in our whole stay in Spain. Very clean and beautiful house, amazing view from the Window, remote and quiet place.

Location is good for the Sierra Nevada and the villages around. Close to Granada. Nice swimming pool.

This hotel is an idyllic rustic property high in the mountains. It provides stunning views of the Sierra Nevada, with that typical clean mountain air. The owners are especially nice as with all the family. The access was simple as well as when we left. The buffet breakfast had everything anyone could want. There is no restaurant but we were allowed to bring our own food into the dinning area in the evening and use the facilities. It was extremely quiet and at night there is limited light pollution. Overall, a wonderful stay in Hotel Finca Aldabra.

The whole experience was a delight. The host Imma was so pleasant and helpful. S made us feel like she was welcoming us into her home. The Hotel is tastefully decorated in a rustic style with reference to their love of horses throughout the building. Everywhere was clean, the beds were very comfortable and the shower was hot and powerful.Location was ideal for a trip up to the top of the Sierra Nevada and a 5 minute drive down to Penos Genil with its lovely town centre and bars along the river.I would recommend the Hotel for anyone who likes rural accommodation with beautiful views with easy access to the Sierra and Granada

Amazing welcome when we arrived, Inma, the owner made us feel at home straight away. Very helpful and lots of local information. The room was great, very comfortable with everything we could possibly want, including the most fabulous view of sunsets over the mountains. Breakfast was a fantastic spread laid out as a buffet, catering for every possible taste. Inma and her staff were the perfect hosts. We really enjoyed our holiday there.

Great quiet location, if you are after 5 star luxury go elsewhere however if you appreciate the more simple things in life then this place is great. The owners are lovely people. Perfect for our motorcycle tour of that area.

Rooms are not soundproof but it didn't spoil anything.

Very cozy family run business. The hosts were very warm and kind. They responded fast to our feedbacks. The breakfast was good. It is located in the middle of Granada and the ski resort. Conchi and her dogs are lovely

The eggs in the breakfast was cold but we figured a way to warm it up.

Super friendly and accommodating personnel. Situated a little bit away from the hustle and bustle, but still within easy driving distance of Granada (20 minutes to the Alhambra, which is closer than most centrally located hotels). Nice and spacious rooms. Great and very spacious general use facilities (multiple rooms) with a fire place, pool table and dining area.

The sound proofing can be improved upon.
