    Pros +

    • Beauty and food quality
    • Staff were extremely pleasant, very accommodating eager to assist and please. Meals were OUTSTANDING and the included Breakfast surpassed our expectations. Dining area was very organized and inviting.Hotel was very quaint and clean.Spa services were lovely
    • The hotel is beautiful! Loved the pool area, especially the hot tub outside!! The breakfast is amazing, everything is made from scratch and super delicious.

    Cons -

    • Location was remote
    • These are just very constructive comments as our stay was truly lovely!! The indoor pool spa atmosphere could be more pleasant with some soft music. Noticed there was an outdoor hot tub, which was not in service, this would have been a wonderful addition to our stay had we been able to utilize. We had just completed the Camino Frances and the hot tub would have been amazing. We were there the first week in June, the property was very quiet, but would be nice to have the outdoor space set up and more inviting.
    • Balconies could have protection, for kids and pets.

The breakfast was marvelous, the SPA is great, we stayed at the Superior Bungalow, and it was fantastic!

The location, there is nothing to see around the facilities of the hotel.

Amazing place with the ability to rent a whole Bungalow for yourself + use Spa services. We stayed with the big dog and she was like a Queen in the castle, with her own bed, bowls from the hotel and the whole big territory to run and flexing around. She didn’t want to get back home. I couldn’t find anything similar in Portugal. The staff is amazing, very helpful. The additional services like massage and SPA are also amazing. Not a lot of people were at the hotel overall, so it is very comfortable and easy to rest from everything.

We had a great time at this hotel. Everything was nice, the staff, the spa facilities, the rooms, the restaurant, drinks, food…, not to mention, super pet friendly. The really have a good operation going on, we would definitely come back.

The staff were exceptional and altered our meals to suit, since the restaurant has been closed for a long time now. But they did what they could considering one of us was gluten free and I a vegetarian. Felt very relaxed and cosy by the end of my stay, thank you!

Since we visited in winter, the main pool could've been a little warmer so we evacuated to the jacuzzi a few times.

Everything is perfect in this hotel, rooms, people, kindness, jacuzzi, spa, pet friendly, restaurant.

Set in a local housing area, it was a pleasant surprise to find this hotel. Easy directions with our sat nav. The welcome from Raphaela and Maria was wonderful. The room was absolutely gorgeous and smelled like a spa, lots of decent shower and hand wash and body creams. Sadly I’d forgotten my bathers so couldn’t use the spa. The evening meal in the very nice dining room was lovely, good food and wine, service again so good. We were really made to feel any home, would highly recommend and will definitely go back - with my bathers!

    Nothing it was all wonderful

The staff was very friendly, kind and always helpful. The breakfast was good, and the location was quiet, remote, and surrounded by nature. The pictures you see on Booking match the reality.

We had some trouble with the amenities in the room and the availability of the restaurant. Room and Spa were tasteful set, but there was the little mouldy smell, like you are used from old Portuguese buildings during the winter season. Again, the staff was very friendly, understanding, and helpful, but we would not stay here again, as the disappointment was simply too big.

There was very little to NOT like about this resort and the staff. Truly surprising experience in a good way! The resort is small but beautiful. The room was very comfortable. Both pools (indoor and outdoor) were very nice. Steam room was a wonderful treat, as was the sauna. Food was great! We had normal expectations and were blown away by the uniqueness of this place. Staff were all lovely and very accommodating.

There was no gym at this resort. Not that surprising given it is on the small side (which made it quant and beautiful) but we all felt that a small yoga / pilates room would have been a great addition. Or even a couple of yoga mats in the rooms or available at the front desk. The location was neither close to Porto city centre, nor very far from this. We appreciated this remoteness a lot. Others may want to be nearer the city.

Not overcrowded (mid august, weekend), clean, great staff

If you like to sleep in darkness, please check before checking into a Deluxe Suite in the main building if the green fire safety light over the door inside the room is somehow fixed. It was enormously bright, I've been discussing that with a manager. Sleeping with it was awful, however I'm still putting 9 points as all the staff is really focused to make your stay comfortable in all aspects.

The staff were absolutely wonderful, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing - so much food and very good quality. I love that they cooked it for you specifically. The spa itself was small but very nice. It was nice that the kids could use it when it wasn't busy.

We were quite disappointed with the room that was at the front of the hotel rather than in the wood as we were hoping/expecting. We had extra beds in our room so this made it really small and not very attractive to spend time there. The hotel was located in a strange area - we obviously checked before we arrived but it was more industrial than we expected. We had dinner at the hotel one night and the service was good, the quality was average and the price was literally double what we had paid elsewhere in Portugal.

Quiet location . Beautiful nature scents. Lovely staff. Sauna .

The staff and the comfort of the rooms are good.

The hotel can not be considered a Quinta as they call it. The area is very small and definitely there is no caractheristic that would define it a Quinta. Very limited restaurant menu for lunch/dinner. The photos and video on the website show areas and activities that are not part of the hotel or even the neighborhood. Most of them are from places far way from the property. It was a frustrating experience for the whole family.

Staff were lovely and breakfast excellent

The shower in the bedroom , and the spa facilities were not as great as expected , very comfortable bed though
