C`Alma D`Alentejo

The property is right in the center of town and perfect location to walk to the castle. The rooms are not huge but perfectly comfortable and spotless and the hotel offers a good breakfast. Bonus: there is a large lounge with a table (we played cards in the evening) and fireplace. They started a fire for us every night! The staff are very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable too. Highly recommend.

Everything was good

Personal was friendly, the living room was excellent with a fireplace. Had a beautiful backyard with a pool. Breakfast was good but not excellent. In summary a good place to stay.

Bathroom arrangement in the room was not an architectural success.

The hotel and outside spaces were impressive, as was the location - very convenient for the admittedly small town, with easy parking nearby and a good restaurant opposite. We particularly appreciated the guest lounge and its stove, as it was cold when we stayed (New Year period). We will definitely stay again.

A small point maybe, but for us, the lighting in the bedroom was not good - the two bedside lights are very bright, and both came on together, so a trip to the bathroom, or reading at night was excessively bright, while the corner opposite, with the small sofa was semi-dark. The same for the bathroom - it was super illuminated or dark. We used the guest lounge which was lovely, as the bedroom was not so comfortable to sit in for two.

The hotel has an amazing location, really central and very quiet. The grounds were all kept really nice and clean. It is definitely a family hotel, lots of kids.The breakfast exceeded my expectations, I wasn't expecting such a nice variety of items in such a small and family owned (?) hotel. The staff will go above and beyond to help and to accommodate any requests. Everyone was super nice and helpful.Will definitely be back.

Nothing really popped up during our stay...I would maybe only say that it can get a little loud with the kids at the pool, but that is a given!

Clean, well designed, spacious, cozy, comfortable, breakfast, little square with pool.

Pressure of shower could be improved, which was the only thing that could be improved. Rest up to high standards.

It may look cool and modern, but I'm not a fan of minimal separation between toilets and bedrooms ...

Very modern, comfortable rooms and facilities. Everything was spotless. Breakfast had a good variety, considering the price of the rooms.

Right in town, close to tourist sites and restaurants. This hotel has been recently updated and everything is super clean. Beds are comfortable and breakfast was good and plentiful. Staff took excellentt care of us when one of our party fell ill. Highly recommend!

The property was amazing, so clean and refreshing from the first step through the door. It feels more like a health retreat than a hotel. Our receptionist/cleaner/assistant went above and beyond in all aspects, she’s a true credit to the place and we couldn’t thank her enough.

Last minute booking. Very good value. Large stylish room. Comfortable bed. Big, walk-in shower was great.Lady on reception was really helpful finding us a restaurant in town that was open on a Monday night in February! Lady at breakfast was lovely too.Got a free parking space in the square directly opposite the hotel.

Ideally located in the middle of charming Alandroal, in the Alentejo region of Portugal, this hotel was renovated with total attention to every detail, and the decor was very nice.The staff couldn’t be more helpful, and the breakfast was fresh and delicious.

I liked everything about the hotel, one of the best I’ve stayed at in Portugal.

The staff are amazing and helpful, we broke down 5mins away and they went above and beyond to help us from organising the mechanic to making sure we had everything we needed and recommended places to eat etc making our stay stress free.Also the interior design and building in general is beautifully done, great use of vintage furniture and modern styling ??

We had an excellent stay at C`Alma D`Alentejo. The apartment is new and clean, located at a very quiet but convenient place, away from tourist spots. It has a nice small pool. Great to take a sunbath. The staff are very attentive, provided us with useful information about the village.

Spacious room with beautiful decor, very clean and as new. The air conditioning worked well, the bed was so comfy and there were lovely touches like a bottle of water and a fridge. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Spacious bathroom with rain shower. Breakfast was very good with freshly squeezed orange juice. Nice little pool to cool off in. Great shared lounge with games. They recommended a little restaurant across the road for dinner which was delicious. Parking is on the road outside, but it is quiet and plenty of spaces. We will come back again.

The hotel has great conditions, well decorated with a super tranquil atmosphere. Excellent location in the heart of the town, with great local restaurants.

What a lovely hotel in the middle of the village. I was a little concerned it would be noisy due to the location, but it was really quiet, got a really good nights sleep. The only slight niggle was the lack of private parking, although there was on street parking out the front of the hotel. The rooms were spacious, immaculately clean and the breakfast was continental, although we were offered scrambled eggs. The pool was a lovely bonus and the garden and patio area although small was delightful.

We loved the location it was so peaceful and serene. The lady who checked us in was amazing. The staff and people we so helpful and kind. The place truly felt like a retreat. I would come back and I definitely recommend staying here.
