    Cons -

    • Nothing could be improved.
    • That we didn't have time enough to stay longer but we'll be back.

Beautiful characterful property, exceptional room, decor & facilities with use of swimming pool. Safe parking

Breakfast was good but limited choice and a little sparse in comparison to similar property types. However, this does not detract from the overall experience.

The room was great! Spacious, very comfortable and clean.

The breakfast was very underwhelming: a giant basket of bread but nothing else. No cheese, barely any jam....

The idea to turn a family house into a boutique hotel was interesting. It seemed that they wanted to keep the family home character to the property.

Hotel is a difficult art. To create the right chemistry, the management must put together the prices and the quality of the venue and the service in line.In another put, this venue pretend to be dog friendly, but it appears that their friendlyness just translate into an additional 12€ charge for no service whatsoever. An other place abusing of the travellers with pets.

An unpretentious breakfast in volume and diversity but with high quality and tasty

A wonderful place to stay! Very comfortable room with a great view from the balcony. It was quite hot at the time so it was great to have the pool too. The hosts were so nice and there was a lovely relaxed atmosphere.

    It was all good!

Beautiful, relaxing, and convenient. A great location. Room very spacious and clean. Modern bathroom. A really nice breakfast. Owner very kind.

The bed pillow wasn’t comfortable- too high and hard for me.

Beautiful and interesting house.Lovely and friendly hosts.Delicious breakfast with homemade jam.We all liked it very much.

Charming, soothing location after a day's hard drive. Hosts were extremely welcoming. The room and balcony superb. The gardens beautifully laid out and tranquil.

Beware driving into Issoire - the signposting is atrocious. If possible store location of Manoir d'Alice in your sat nav to get you home.

Big family room. Nice big pillows.

Breakfast can be with more variety… but in France it is rare. But why don’t try to be different?! Good price.

the bed was the MOST comfortable I have ever slept in (no exaggeration!). Bernard was charming and very helpful. His homemade strawberry jam at breakfast was stunning, and as a jam maker myself I know what I’m talking about.

it would have been good to have been able to make a cup of tea on arrival. There are no tea and coffee making facilities.

Easy to find and a beautiful property. Nice it was away from the road and in its own grounds. The swimming pool was an added bonus. Dare I say it. but it was a little too warm to be refreshing though it was very welcome after our long drive. The beds were super comfy and the quality of the sheets was superb. 500+ thread count I’d say! We both enjoyed our breakfast. Thank you Bernard.

Lighting in our room was a little too dark. Carpet had definitely seen better days. But, it was clean.

The manor house is a wonderful piece of old architecture that the owners have tastefully kept original or updated in very nice ways. We stayed in the Medici suite and had no complaints as the room, bathroom, tv and overall experience was perfect. The hosts were engaging and helpful and the breakfast included honey and bread and jam all made by the hosts (or their bees).

There was really nothing to complain about as our stay and room was exactly as expected and the hosts and breakfast far exceeded our expectations.

A lovely setting. The host was very friendly and was very proud of this lovely house. Breakfast: The home made jam was awesome. 10/10 value for money. Will defo come again without any worries. The host even sorted out a local restaurant booking for us when we arrived late. That was spot on after 10 hours driving. Thank you !
