    Pros +

    • Good location, no street noise . Staff was very helpful.
    • Location
    • We appreciated the ability to bring our dog. We were in town which was good for ski rental and shopping.

    Cons -

    • The sofa bed could be more comfortable . No full length mirror in room.
    • You pay, for a 4 people room but need to sleep on a sofa bed… bring your own sheets, no people around the premises at all. Worst is the parking on the freezing weather, it gets frozen and you aren’t able to go skiing… We had a hard time with that, I think if you provide parking you should also take care of that facility we nearly crushed with an other car sliding on the frozen path… No salt to help prevent the frozen path, no staff to take off snow, or throw the burning water in the facilities (which is an other theme)
    • The heating system was problematic; the light fixture was flickering; we only received a code for one apartment although we had rented two; we only received one kitchen pack although we had two apartments. All of these issues were solved rather quickly, but I had to exchange numerous messages which is not something we want to have to worry about during a vacation. The rooms have not been updated for 15 years (we stayed 15 years ago and it is exactly the same, but much more worn down). There are not enough outlets and those that there are are very inconveniently placed. There were only small plates for use in our room. The lighting is very dim. The sofa bed is v-shaped and incredibly uncomfortable.

The good side is that the space offers autonomy. There is a small equipped kitchen with necessary basics for cooking. The price was attractive because of the seasonal discount.

There are a lot of unexpected tricks. For example, you will be charged extra for bedding or cleaning. There is a coffee machine, but you need to bring your own coffee capsules—which is not mentioned in the description.Essentially, all the criticism revolves around the initial reservation information, which lacks enough details or clarity to help guests make an informed decision. The host could do a better job by providing more detailed photos, clearly explaining what is available and what is not, and advising guests to bring certain items or plan time to clean the space to avoid "penalties."In the end, everything worked out fine and we were not charged any extra. However, it felt like a lot of extra work to communicate with the hotel beforehand and to go through all the instructions provided in the room.

Booking should take this property out of its platform.

AVOID! I had a booking with Les Balcons du soleil over the weekend. The apartment had no hot water throughout our stay. On Saturday we tried to contact the property over the phone and left a message for them. They did not reply. We have not been able to reach them. They only sent us automatic messages with the codes and instructions to enter/leave. We had also a booking for 3 people but messaged ahead saying we would only be 2 people in the end. They did not reply. They have not replied since. Booking costumer service is also trying to contact and they are unresponsive. I would avoid staying here.

Very near of the center of Font Romeu, wich is a very nice village, with great views to the surrounding mountains.

Property owners provided a Wifi code but not the Wifi name. When in there, the Wifi names that looked like could be the right ones, didn't work with provided code.I had granted a parking car (same number than room number) that was occupied by someone else.

It is quiet and straight forward and good value for money. It is in a good location.the balcony was cool too and the room furniture all that you need.

Bit short of things in the apartment like kettle.but it is for longer stays than I was there and people bring their coffee. but no coffee filter papers makes that difficult and one would have no idea as there is not much info in booking details; and not much info about the local area.

Cleaning products were provided. Dishwasher. Warm apartment. Nice view. Parking. Ski lockers. Easy access. Proximity to shops and to city center.

Uncomfortable beds. Bad lightning. Problems with wifi. Limited kitchen supplies.

Location was great. We arrived late, the key was left at reception for us, easy checkin. The window was left open and heater turned off when we arrived but luckily the room heats up quickly. The room is basic but if you want to stay in and cook, it has everything.

The sofabed and bunk beds are not comfortable, for 1 night its ok but I wouldnt stay for longer.

We had a room overlooking the valley. the view is amazing.

The front desk has certain opening hours, it's worth remembering that. We arrived and instructions and the room key were left for us in the box at the front desk. The room was being renovated. Fortunately, when we went back to the front desk, the staff was there and we were quickly replaced with a room.

    Just 400m from the skilift.

Poor bathroom's furnitures. Room smaller than expected.

The only think that is nice about this place is the view and location

This apartment is really poor and the photos on booking are very deceiving. Everything is falling apart, missing or broken doors in the cupboards and in the kitchen, kitchen extractor does not work, and when you cook the heating turns off, so you can't even open the window to let the smoke out while you cook (it was minus 5 when we stayed here). The kitchen is VERY poorly equipped, there was not one single knife that could cut a carrot, or basic cooking utensils like a wooden spoon. The heating system is NOT powerful enough for winter, so be ready to have around 12 degrees inside the apartment if it's snowing outside. The beds are extremely uncomfortable, the sofa bed in the living room has a v shape that converges to the middle, a total back breaker, and the bunk beds besides being almost falling apart they have a width of about 60cm, so only suitable for very small children. TV had no remote, bathroom shower head would not hold in the wall, it would just fall... and there was no instructions for anything in the apartment. If you need help from reception good luck with that, they close at 18h, so after that time you will have to wait for the next day... It literally feels like the management doesn't care at all about the confort of guests, and there's absolutely ZERO maintenance of the facilities. Not even mentioning that when I booked they told me that I could check in between 10 and 11 am, and when I got there at 11.15am they told me I had to come back at 3pm because the room wasn't ready....

it was beautiful as there was plant’s

swimming pool was closed , no entertainment for the children and there was no internet

    Practical location. Nice and clean

Very limited view from balcony. Don't like to be 'threatened' with unanounced (unanounced at time of booking) possible cleaning fees. No vacuum cleaner was available as stated. In one of the other apartments dogs were left alone, barking through the whole Saturday afternoon, with an open door to the balcony. Very noisy and disturbing, both inside the building and outside. Acces from car park (level 0) to elevator inside the building (on level 1) is via a staircase.

needs a big clean and sharp listing !

many items were missing, the kitchen was dirty and sticking, no curtains at the window, weird pictures of some people hiding behind the door

cancelled the booking but still charged me, cannot believe this!

they cancelled the booking because of 'water damage' and move me to another hotel which i had to pay in cash. then they did not reimbursh so i paid for two hotels...booking.com is also very slow in correcting this, now, more then 2 months later, i still not have be reimburshed
