    • nice accommodation in a very quiet location with easy access to the motorway. The restaurant food was first class, and the staff very friendly . The room was very comfortable and large with a great terrace

    Cons -

    • The bathroom was very basic in my family room. Also nowhere comfy to sit and relax - in summer would be better as there are places outside to sit. As it was a self catering room there was a table and bench to sit at but not relaxing. My bedroom was upstairs from the bathroom which is not ideal as you get older!
    • Dogs bark quite a lot towards people, also at night? The shower facilities can be improved.
    • Absolutely nothing.

What an incredible place. Tucked away amongst the most beautiful scenery. The mother and son who ran the place were really lovely and our room with a vast terrace was perfect. Our dinner was simply gorgeous!

    Absolutely nothing.

Isolated, peaceful, quiet on a night, air con if needed, fabulous food and wine, pleasant breakfast with view over the valley from the terrace, all the birds singing.

Outdated room, furniture and bedding, bed too hard (perhaps personal taste), no shower screen on bath, pool and poolside could be cleaner.

The hotel is in a charming quiet location close to the main travel routes. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was ideal with a lovely big terrace. The food in the restaurant was exceptional, and we would not hesitate to stay again.

    nothing at all

Excellent dinner (both the food and the service) in a magnificent thousand-year-old dining room. The setting was beautiful. Very peaceful!

The room was a disappointment. Extremely basic in every way and in need of major updating. The TV was similar in size to my laptop screen!

We loved the rural location and the warm greeting from the owners. The food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious - one of the best meals we had in France! The view while having a beer at sunset was absolutely breathtaking.

We were happy at the property, you could say the rooms need renovating but we thought the style was part of its charm!

    Beautiful and tranquil location.

Breakfast was a little expensive at €14 but it’s lovely and the terrace is beautiful at this time of morning

It was a nice cozy room with an amazing terrace and beautiful view. it was a family estate and Guilhem and his family were very lovely people who took care of me really well throughout my stay. they went out of the way to help me out whenever possible and it is truly heartwarming. adding on, they have very good food in the family restaurant as well.

The apple Tart! The location if your a Walker is perfect. No noise.

we couldn’t get into the restaurant because it was full. even thou some tables were empty.we were offered fromage & sliced meats. small portions for two. The price was €80 totally shocked!would not order that again.

Quiet, secluded, great areaWe only had morning coffee but on the terrace with birds and a great view

Restaurant too expensive for us but the local town (5km) has a great bistro, friendly with good food too

Amazing and chill place, surrounded by nice views. The ambient makes you feel in peace, and the people is lovely. Perfect to stay with your dog. And you can’t miss the restaurant! We want to go there again, thank you so much

Beautiful old stone building full of charm in the peace and quiet. We had a beautiful dinner on the balcony overlooking the valley below. The apple tart is a must! Our room was very basic but very clean and priced accordingly so no complaints there.

Very good service; we were asked if we wanted a table reservation in the restaurant before arrival. (VERY GOOD RESTAURANT) And breakfast service is very flexible, any time was possible.

The location is a bit far away from everything, keep that in mind. In return, beautiful and quiet location to relax.

The breakfast was an excellent continental style one, with a mixture of fruit, yoghurt, pastries, confitures etc plus coffee /tea as desired. BUT for special mention the dinner was a wonderful experience. We had the three course set menu plus local wines. The food was Michelin standard, fairly rich but not too much and cooked by father of the mother, father and son team. We sat outside on a covered terrace overlooking the rolling forested hills of the Languedoc. Bliss!

The room was comfortable but very typically French of a bygone era in decoration etc. However, everything worked. We only discovered the shutter incorporated in the terrace French door in the morning! As it happened it didn’t matter as we were not overlooked as we were miles away from anywhere. The only real criticism I have is that more specific directions need to be given. We did go round the houses a bit before eventually retracing our steps and trying a different route.

dinner, cuisine excellant and nice presentation, degustation of fine wines of the region a pleasure ,breakfast plentifull good mix , my dog enjoyed her freedom of the extensive grounds. Monseur et madame et leur chien very welcoming.

the weather next morning,/ freezing fog and ice en route.

Really good breakfast. Lovely view from the terrace. Great start to the day.

The menu in the restaurant is really good, and the food is excellent. However, the wine list is very expensive. In fact you really need to be sitting down to read it...

    The facilities, the restaurant.

They only speak French and have no real interest in you. the road towards the hotel is quite dangerous and unfortunately we had a flat tire because of that (bad luck) we waited for 6 hours before help arrived but in situation like this you expect some help from your host, the owner drove by 2 times and looked at us and didn’t help. After returning to the hotel we asked for help to arrange a taxi to pick-up the repaired car. the taxi driver they had for us was 80 euros while Uber was half the price also they didn’t put effort to help us they where more interested if stayed for dinner or not. Me as a guest expected help and effort to solve the situation. But when we asked for help for finding a taxi the owner who drove by wasn’t even interested in what had happened . We felt very uncomfortable. It was a sad situation. And we won’t book again.
