A beautiful space, in a pretty town, and lovely part of France. Very friendly and efficient staff - couldn’t do enough to help you. Great communication. Pictures are a very accurate reflection.

We loved this hotel. Fabulous old building, wonderful facilities, glorious locations. Superb manger and the most perfect and lovely owner. The best hotel in France, such a relaxing atmosphere, lovely pool, beautiful grounds and facilities too.

very very nice staff... great cook almost gastronomic like.. best steak I had in decades.`quiet and cozy... hard to forget really a place worth staying a bit more and enjoy more than 24h.... we need to be back.

Beautiful old expansive property with lovely restaurant, bar and large terraces and gardens. Large lounge and breakfast room with a piano. Room was clean and spacious. Food was great especially with a log fire lit, very cosy. Owner very friendly with several languages. Historic church just up the hill.

The welcome, friendliness and helpful nature of the staff.Excellent value for money for both room and food. That said, one evening only three main course options, two pork and a veggie, would not suit all tastes.

Parking facilities

The hotel is imaginatively made up from refurbished old properties in a small village. One of the highlights was the dinner outside on their terrace. Everyone involved in the hotel were very helpful and in particular the chef produced declicious food. There are lots of things to do in the area and the hotel was very helpful in providing details of local walks. It also provides bicycle hires.

The only negative was that at times staff seemed a bit stretched and this showed up in some aspects of cleaning. However, this is only a detail which should not put anyone off from staying. Definitely a hotel to return to at some point.

Chose Les Mangolias for superb village location. The staff were friendly, engaging and humorous. Lovely indoor and outdoor dining areas and a building of character. Relaxing.

The staff...Claudia is just a fabulous hostess! She makes a really relaxed atmosphere where everyone gets looked after and pampered. The lovely building, lots of nooks and crannies for secluded moments with a book. The bike hire (would be good if there was an hourly rate too) and great guidance as to where to go. The lovely restaurant meals and cocktails by the pool. The quiet and the views on the countryside. Brilliant stay. I'll be back!

First room had sound of motor intermittently all night. Needs tracking down and soundproofing. Great reactivity in changing rooms the following night.Must be possible to get some lovely local homemade jams and cheese for the breakfast table and would light up the sumptuous breakfast which lacks a bit of personality.

Gorgeous historical features (700 years old), lovely garden, beautiful terrace/restaurant. Friendly people.

Slightly understaffed if you want pre-dinner drinks. Very abrasive pool water.
