Great quiet location. Friendly family run hotel. Good choice at breakfast

Evening set menu was the same for 2 consecutive nights and starters was just a plate of cold meats, the main course of lamb chops was quite small compared to others who had the same food. Maybe because we were the only Brits in a hotel full of French people?

Very quaint and charming hotel, with recently renovated rooms and delicious dinner and breakfast. The view of the countryside from our balcony was gorgeous to wake up to. I would have loved to stay longer and relax. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, going out of their way to connect us with a local business in town.

I had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel-restaurant. The welcome was warm and friendly, making me feel at home right away. The room was very comfortable, impeccably clean, and located in a peaceful setting—perfect for a relaxing stay. The restaurant was a real highlight, offering delicious dishes made with plenty of local products. The homemade foie gras was absolutely exceptional. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet getaway with excellent food and hospitality.

The egg boiler is not very efficient for making soft- or hard-boiled eggs.

Wonderful peaceful location in the mountain meadows. Friendly staff, very comfy bed and very good food. Much quieter and more beautiful than busy St Jean Pied de Port.

coffee in the rooms not so good. cheap little paper cups wrapped in single use plastic. no milk sachets or anything.

The hotel is very pleasant and comfortable, the staff friendly. We arrived rather early but that was not a problem. The location was lovely and the hotel certainly met my expectations.

The restaurant was also very comfortable and pleasant. My friend enjoyed his dinner however my beef main course was rather disappointing. If my French language skills were better I would have mentioned at the time.

The food and the flys . . Food wasn't the best and flys were annoying.

Remote location so you get fresh air and silence. Owner are nice; and everything is new at this moment. You can get diner and breakfast, parking is also included if you get there soon enough. There is even a snooker table !

The owner provide a tale at the entrance for diner - even if we had book the rooms for a long time. The breakfast was not as well organized as we would expect (eg. no espresso, no cappuccino - just a coffee pot and hot water for tea). The selection of eggs (fried, omelet) or Cheese was made after we were seating for 10 minutes already - so we were not sure in fact what was the breakfast selection.
