Hotel evening meals were very good although relatively expensive, and same menu on both nights didn't offer much variety.
Cafe a breakfast was via basic machine. Basic buffet. I wouldn't take breakfast again.

We were not told a code to get back into the property. We walked the dogs 11pm and got back to the hotel with all doors locked and no way of getting back in, we were out in the cold for 40minutes. No one answering the phone.It felt like we were ushered to check out sooner than the check out time stated on booking.com.

Unfortunately one of our party (89yrs old) was unwell when we arrived and the staff were resistant to him having his meal in his room.. it was allowed eventually but with much discussion and distress..
Nice hotel in a good location for me on my latest Pyrenees cycling trip. Two days here and I rode Col D'Aubisque to watch La Vuelta, Col de Marie Blanque both sides and Col de Soudet from Arette. My evening meal at the hotel was very good, breakfast OK, coffee was good!Room was neat, clean and tidy.
The shower was over the bath and it's height was too low for me so had to hold it one handed. A minor inconvenience, not serious but a separate shower is better in my opinion.

On a main road and lots of flies. We had to dispose of 14 on returning to our room. There was a notice advising to keep windows closed which we did but presume cleaner left door open when servicing. Flies seem to be a problem in the area.

The location on the side of the road is not ideal especially if you are without a car.
