    Pros +

    • The set up
    • The staff is fantastic. Despite an error in the system with the type of room, they managed it with kindness and diligence. The room was clean and quiet.
    • The room was large with a balcony, which had a table and chairs. The room and the building in which it resided looked a little tired. However, the bed was comfortable. The big surprise about this place was the absolutely superb restaurant. Both the food and the service was some of the best that we have experienced.

    Cons -

    • This is not the property’s problem in itself but putting it here as advice for future travelers without a car: it is very difficult to get an app driver in the entire area, so I suggest to enquire beforehand about a taxi company and make phone reservations in advance when possible.
    • Cleanliness in the bathroom wasn't the best. Nothing major, just some leftover shower gel bottles and the sink wasn't that clean.
    • Pool was nice but it’s nothing like the one in the photograph on the site.Room was small and rather stuffy so the AC was needed A lot of mosquitoes Very quiet village

Friendly staff, lovely premises. Restaurant looked good, although I only ate a desert.

Lovely quiet and tucked away location close to the route north south France Pyrenees roads. Excellent restaurant and lovely little quiet clean pool for guests. Friendly staff and very comfy rooms.

    8RichardPosted on: 7-20-2024

Restaurant was unbelievable! Best omelette we've ever had! Nice hotel and pool too.

    9PeterPosted on: 6-20-2024

The rooms are modest but clean and beds are comfortable. Nice little patio with chairs to sit outside and enjoy a glass of wine amongst the quiet of the village. Pool is a little old and they were cleaning it when we visited but water temperature was nice in mid-June. The restaurant on site is absolutely incredible. Huge portions of local, traditional food all made in house. The family that runs the hotel and restaurant are very friendly and accommodating.

It is in the middle of farming country roughly 25 minutes from Madiran, and there really is nothing else to do nearby. It was perfect for us as we used it as a home base and drove to Chateau Montus and Chateau Bouscasse for wine touring and tastings.

Very niet room. Exelent food in the restaurant.

It was a national holiday, so there was no normal breakfast.

    8AdrianPosted on: 10-11-2023

Evening meal was excellent . All the staff were polite and friendly. The aircon was good as it was still warm

    The WiFi was useless

This was a terrific place to stay. Very comfortable, nice swimming pool, lovely evening meal on the terrace. Good value. Would definitely return and heartily recommend.

Views from the hotel were stunning. Our family suite was large and comfortable. The whole place was very safe and staff were very welcoming and friendly. The food at the restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced, wonderful taste of French produce. Breakfast was good, with fresh fruit and good variety of bread and pastries as well as bacon and eggs.

There aren’t any pavements around the village so it didn’t feel safe walking around at night. The property and grounds were very well lit but not the streets around it

The staff were very friendly. Nice size room with terrace . Restaurant was excellent and hugely popular with locals .

Nothing ! We adjusted our travel plans to stay another night on the way home from Spain.

Beautiful setting. Good sized rooms. Easy parking on site.

Poor/No WiFi in reception or dining area. Take mosquito repellant!

WE WERE ON REPEAT VISIT AS WE RATE THIS HOTEL HIGHLY. VERY VERY GOOD FOOD SERVED IN DINING ROOM OR OUTSIDE BY THE POOL. GREAT STAFF WHO ARE EAGER TO PLEASE. THIS HOTEL KEEPS IMPROVING.

    NOTHING NOT TO LIKE

    9Jean-PierrePosted on: 7-18-2022

We've got a better room than I booked. We even got a room with a king size bed = 180 cm and it slept wonderful, good mattress. We also enjoyed the restaurant. You really get enough on your plate! We didn't have breakfast but I know from other moments that this is also enough and good!

Sometimes I've got the impression that the cleaning of the rooms (bathroom) can be better.

this hotel is really a fun little property in the farming district of Southwest France. You get the real feeling of agricultural life and can enjoy fresh products at the hotel’s lively restaurant. The grounds have beautiful ornamental trees everywhere. The swimming pool also provides for a welcome refreshing start to the day. The rooms are rather basic but nothing to complain about here. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

    No complaints

    7PeterPosted on: 7-12-2022

It was very peaceful. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It was private and had good facilities.

It wasn't particularly clean and if you got to breakfast late then the remains were congealed.

exceptionally clean. super comfortable bed. amazing restaurant. can’t wait to stay again soon.
