No restaurant or bar service on Friday evening - disappointing

Nice large room accommodating our two small dogs. Friendly staff and good location that's easy to find.

Not much around the hotel in terms of places to eat.

The room and the breakfast were perfectly good. Location of hotel good for our needs but very easy to miss the entrance to the hotel carpark.

I booked this hotel precisely because it advertised a restaurant and room service. On arrival we were told there was no restaurant, and never had been, despite the fact that a private function was obviously being held in the breakfast/non-existing dining room and bar and receptionist advised using brasserie across the road, which we found to be closed on Sunday evening, the night we were there. Returning to receptionist for advice on possible food delivery options she said maybe she could arrange a tray in our room. So, the night before I was admitted to hospital (the reason for being there) we dined on microwave heated jars of soup, bread and cheese, followed by cold, supermarket tubs of apple crumble. For this we were charged 48 euros on departure the following morning. To one side of the main entrance a notice board showed dining times, including lunch and dinner. Our key card wallet also listed meal times, including dinner time. I have included a photo of the wallet.

Parking in front of the hotel. The location is also perfect - it is just off the motorway and perfect place to stop on the road trip to Spain. The room was very comfortable and quiet, had a great bed and shower. The restaurant across the street served great dinner. Would definitely stay again.

Everything is new, the room was very spacious, the lady at the reception desk was very friendly , its dog-friendly and it’s not even expensive!

Rooms were excellent size with good facilities. Very clean. Staff very friendly.

Only option for evening meal was a bbq - which was very disappointing, expected the proper menu on second night only to find it was bbq again! So had to find alternative options for evening meal. No real 0% alcoholic drinks available.

Lovely room with a balcony, nice grounds, friendly and helpful staff, large car park.

Excellent facility, although location is at a ZA, the place has a resort like quality.

The offerings of the restaurant could be better: on at least two days the only offering was an all you can eat bbq

First impression on finding the hotel weren't good. It looked like it was part of an industrial estate just off the dual carriageway. How wrong! The rear of the hotel overlooks a grass meadow and is very quiet. The staff were very helpful and spoke English. The hotel is very modern and well appointed. Our room was a superior room which overlooked the meadow and had a balcony and two chairs and a table. The room was large and the bathroom, separate from the toilet, was equipped with a delightful walk-in shower and other modern amenities. We ate in the restaurant and weren't disappointed.

More choice from the menu would have been nice and a better stocked bar.

Disappointing

Easily accessible from the highway, the comfortable hotel sits in a nice emplacement, with the restaurant and terrace overlooking ample green spaces. What for, if a careless disrespectful and discriminatory functionary spoiled the whole stay? Having been friendly received, at the check-in (6.00 PM), with the suggestion to dine at the restaurant (buffet, between 7.30-9.00 PM), I arrived 6-7 minutes after the opening hour for the diner, and was shortly and flatly dismissed, as there were no more places for one person only. Only two guests were sitting at tables, each tucked in a corner of the room. All the other numerous tables, although not occupied, were allegedly reserved (something not mentioned at the check-in); circa half a dozen persons were beginning to serve themselves at the buffet. I was simply told to cross the road to a restaurant in front of the hotel, which, in fact, was closed this evening (Wednesday the 15th of May 2024). After a journey crossing France, in an on-and-off rainy day, it was not in my plans to return to the road, in search of a restaurant in the nearby town. I stayed in the room, waiting for the breakfast, at 6.30 AM, and a definitive check-out from Kyriad for the foreseeable future (even considering the sincere -I assume- excuses presented at the departure).

Very large rooms for France, very good bed. Nice staff, good breakfast. All is very good at this hotel, very large and close to the highway. One of my favorites.

No restaurant on weekends which is when we stayed. Luckily there was a local one we went to.

Proximity to peage

The way I was treated by the receptionist when I left. She demanded I return to pay the local taxes, which I had paid the night before when I checked in. She wouldn't believe me so I paid again as I had no wish to delay. All efforts to speak to the manager later through the week proved to be unsuccessful. My advice, get a receipt for the local taxes to avoid the issue.

Good location lovely hotel but disappointed that bar and restaurant was closed at weekend. The toilet light was irritating as the door stuck on the floor tiles and light remained on too long. Otherwise very quiet and comfortable bed.
