Pros +
- We had a very homely large room with mini kitchen and generously sized bathroom, pets are allowed. The location is quiet, in the countryside, with easy access to the town of Montbron. Would recommend to book the Domaine de Brise Bois.
- Beautiful property set in a quiet surrounding. Nice swimming pool. Spacious room with excellent bedding and extra towels for the swimming pool.
- Beautiful pool, nice gardens, relaxing after a day on bikes
Cons -
- Room was a bit darksome. only one small window. No possibility for breakfast.
- Location challenging (for cyclists) as it’s not near a town and the new owner has not got the restaurant operational yet. Bathroom is a bit dark
- The owner was not there to discuss or solve our problems. We had booked it as an hotel in February but it wasn't an hotel in May and we were not told of this. We were given a small discount but this didn't make up for the lack of food and support from absent owners.

Everything. Great and very accommodating host, well appointed and comfortable rooms, and a beautiful setting.
The rooms were fine if it was a hotel where food was available but not as a room only in a very isolated area.

perfect stop over point as we drove south. amazing pool, delicious breakfast and comfortable bed. what more could we ask?!
Fantastic location, lovely pool, very welcome after long drive South. Our room was well furnished to a good standard and spotlessly clean with lovely towels. The Patron was very welcoming and helpful.
Due to COVID staff shortages meant the restaurant was closed during our stay which was very unfortunate and meant we had to drive out to get supper which after a long drive from Caen was not ideal for our first night at the property. WI-FI was very poor or nonexistent in our room but did work in some of the public areas.
2nd time we have stayed here. Quiet location with great facilities!
lovely room. nice and warm and lovely setting
unfortunately the WiFi wasn’t working in the accommodation
Breakfast (at extra charge) was very copious and good selection. Swimming pool was nice for relaxing. Great seclusion and a nice feeling of being in nature. Quite some wildlife in the area I think. Not far from Golf de la Prèze.
Wifi reception at the pool area was non existant. Could be an area for inprovement so you can read your mails poolside.
