    Pros +

    • The staff was super kind.
    • Location. Super staff. Excellent evening meal.
    • Lovely restaurant. Lovely spacious room with great sea views. Staff were great. Location was good for where we wanted to go.

    Cons -

    • It could use a little renovation. There's no soundproofing.
    • Shower in the bath was too low in room 17 so found hair washing difficult and very uncomfortable. Didn't like that they never checked our room number when we ordered drinks so we had to keep a list of what we ordered.
    • The only downside is that the restaurant doesn't open on a Wednesday nor does the Thai food bar. There are other restaurants nearby but if walking in the evening be advised that there are no street lights along the way

Didn’t have the breakfast room was a great size on the 3rd floor

No lift. Wasn’t aware they didn’t serve dinner on a Wednesday night which was the only night we were staying.

The beautiful restaurant views. The menus were interesting with good choices. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room layout was poor though comfortable. Poorly placed WC.

The location in proximity to St Malo and Le Mont Saint Michel. Seafront property. Within walking distance on bakery and restaurants. The size of the room for a family room was good.

It’s basic which we expected but expensive for what it is. The main issue I had was that when we left for the day we locked our room (number 2, the first one you come to upstairs) but when we came back it was unlocked, I assume left by the staff cleaning the room but all of our things were in there and with no staff on reception most of the time it didn’t feel very secure. Smaller points were that the shower constantly went from boiling hot to freezing cold, the curtains were not hanging properly so let a lot of light in. One just odd thing was that the bedside tables had lamps on them but they weren’t plugged in and there were no plugs nearby.

Loved the location, the comfortable beds, the overall cleanliness (spotless) and the kindness of the staff.

    The stairs ?

    Comfortable bed

Double room was very smallRoom was at front of hotel & lot of traffic noise No soundproofing and disturbed by noise from other roomsShower leaked so shower room floor wet

The restaurant for supper was very good. The bathroom in the room was nice

Our room was on the third floor. We don’t have mobility issues but would have liked a lift as we had baggage. The floor of the room sloped and we hit our heads on the beams

Nice view to the sea, big room, comfortable beddings, good sized bathroom, everyday cleaning, water bottles offered every day, kettle available. Very good breakfast buffet. Friendly staff, maps and guides of the region supplied. The wonderful restaurant with panoramic view to the sea is very worth trying it. There is also a Thai restaurant in the hotel but we didn’t have the chance to taste its food. Perfect location for long walks next to the Britton seaside landscape.

Two points: must keep in mind that there is no lift but stairs to the rooms (in three floors) and no air conditioning (though a big fan was already available in our room). A mini fridge in the room could be useful.

Clean and friendly with excellent restaurant

    10ElizabethPosted on: 6-28-2024

Friendly welcome and the effort to give us a plateau de fruits de merry although the restaurant was closed (Wednesday,)

Breakfast room a bit small and overcrowded

Lovely room big and very clean and comfortable. View was amazingVery nice restaurant with great food

We were on the third floor. There was no lift but we were aware at the time of booking

Comfortable hotel in quiet village. Very good restaurant. Friendly staff.

    7CatherinePosted on: 10-22-2023

Good location for touring. Very helpful receptionist - their restaurant was shut because of the season but she went out of her way to point us to several restaurants who would likely be open on a Monday night and give us their telephone numbers. Breakfast was good, tho' continental.

Nothing to do with hotel but now we have seen Cancale we would probably prefer to base ourselves there. Also beaches in Le Vivier are separated from the land by "marais" so if tide out it is a bit of a hike to the sea.

    9LuciaPosted on: 10-9-2023

The place is beautiful. The rooms are very comfortable and the restaurant is really good

Some people in the staff weren't very nice. But nothing serious. I would come back

    9JamesPosted on: 9-22-2023

Lovely room and area to visit St Mont Michel, had a lovely stay. Very clean room and hotel areas.

I book this particular hotel for location and just wanted to eat at the hotel. Been travelling a month just wanted to stay in. This should not distract from a pleasant stay.

    10Roadrat102Posted on: 9-11-2023

The hotel provided fans in the room to cope with the heatwave. The only one who has so far in our tour

You need to check if the restaurant is closed during your stay however other restaurants of equal quality are available

    8CharlesPosted on: 9-9-2023

Breakfast not takenNice location but only 6 parking spots but can park on road outside Restaurant very good with magnificent views over the bay

Room was very warm but they supplied a fan without being askedNo milk supplied in room for tea but we didn't bother asking
