Pros +
- The beautiful and peaceful location overlooking the river. Convenient location to local attractions. The dinner served each night was very good and the young lady working the front desk and servicing the restaurant was very pleasant and welcoming.
- Location, very charming building and nice room.

Cons -
- The blankets were without duvet covers. The owner of the hotel, who is also the receptionist, is unfriendly.
- It's a little weird that the glass back door out to the lawns only has a see through curtain in front of it. Luckily we stayed in late autumn and the hotel wasn't busy, but there are easy chairs out on those lawns and I can imagine in summer people are out there enjoying the late evening sunshine. Therefore, if you have the lights on in your room there is no privacy.
- Breakfast from 8 am only. A couple of days ahead of our stay we received a notice that full restaurant was closed due to an event. This was a bit disappointing given there seating in the room was limited and outside spaces were not an option due to the rain. The proprietor was kind enough to provide some additional chairs and table. The room itself was spacious but the staircase was really steep and no fridge.

The location is fantastic. It over looks the river and some lovely countryside. The welcome at check in was great. The room was good. It was on the ground floor, and the back door led out to a little patio area at the back where we could sit and admire the view. The food was fantastic.

Easy access to motorway and overall great and quiet location. Breakfast was really good. Rooms were spacious.

The staff were extremely helpful, both with information and luggage. A wonderful place to relax after our day tours. Beautiful property.
The hotel did provide one dining option-its own restaurant. It was good but choices were very limited and one had to decide on a dinner option prior to the meal as it was being prepared off site. The nearest town with restaurants is Dinan, which took us about 30 minutes to drive.
We liked the fact that we had a personal welcome when we arrived and throughout our stay. The people who worked there seemed happy and motivated and the food was sourced locally as much as possible.
Beautiful location and stunning views
Nothing much but there was no food on a Sunday or Monday eve and Bfast was not til 8.30 am
Beautiful setting, bedroom spacious, great shower and delicious breakfast.
It is remote and you will need a car.
It's 19 rooms. Old Manor. Family run.Convenient free parking. They have electric vehicle charging.Breakfast €17 per head we did not partake. Our room faced river.Moon shine at night.Sunrise morning.
We arrived 24 hours late.Flight was cancel from London Gatwick to Rennes by Easyjet. We try to reschedule from four nights to three nights but was rejected. So we still pay as original booking.
Stunning location, relaxed vibe, friendly staff and beautiful walks from the front door to the beach
Second visit fantastic quiet location now on most evenings a meal can be served which is a great bonus. Great quiet location very picturesque
The staff and presentation of the property were faultless. All staff could not have been more helpful. The food and service were of a high standard and the rooms were clean and beautifully decorated. The situation and peaceful atmosphere were wonderful.
Beautiful grounds in the country.8
Rooms are basic and internet is poor.Hard to get internet in the rooms and when you did it often would drop if cut out.
Lovely property, clean room helpful staff
The breakfast was excellent with delicious options. The dining room was very nicely decorated. The Manoir is situated in beautiful countryside. It was easy to take a beautiful stroll through the landscape with good views of the water. The family that runs the Manoir is very kind to the visitors.
The Wifi is unreliable. (Makes it easier to appreciate the location). Breakfast could start earlier than 8:30. The Manoir is far from restaurants, grocery stores so food options for dinner are limited unless you drive to Dinan.
This is the most beautiful, relaxing location ever. What a gem! The owners are also extremely accommodating - we were able to have a lovely and very delicious dinner and gorgeous wine on our little terrace overlooking the bay. They brought us blankets, light and did everything in their power to make everything perfect! The breakfast is amazing full of regional, seasonal and self-made foods ensuring there is something for everyone. Definite recommend for anyone looking for something off unique!
Loved it all!
Everything. Outstanding view of the river. Beautiful location. Lovely facility. Fantastic staff that was extremely helpful and friendly. The other guests were lovely. Lovely charcuterie dinners for those who did not want to go to dinner off site. Exceptional breakfast.
Nothing could have been improved. We loved our stay just as it was.
The breakfast room was a real treat. I have travelled a lot and never seen such a variety of fabulous breads, cakes, jams, and fruits plus all the usual offers and a few I was not expecting. All fresh and interesting. Great Job. Pity there was no evening restaurant, but if we had stayed longer the pre-ordered trays looked excellent, and besides, there were restaurants all along the Rance anyway.
Nothing significant.
Beautiful location, very peaceful and overlooking the water. Very warm welcome and helpful and friendly staff.
Nothing!
