Les Dineux Village

Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.Location of hotel is perfect for travel using main route between St Brieuc and Rennes.Staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Hotel information states that the restaurant is open all week, however it is not open at the weekend.

The location suited our requirements for a staging post on our way to the ferry port at Roscoff. The catering both the evening meal and breakfast were very satisfactory and we would recommend les Dineux Village to a anyone with similar needs to ours last week

Breakfast was very good with plenty on offer. The swimming pool looked inviting if it was available, again waiting for summer hols to begin.

The restaurant was closed until I presume the French holidays begin. We had to travel for 30 minutes to a town nearby where only 1 restaurant was open. There were many diversions in place at nearly all the country roads as there was a huge music festival in the area we needed to go through. Had it not been for a very helpful young man who told us to follow him it would have taken much longer to get to the accommodation.

We were so happily surprised by the place. Well located, clean, friendly, spacious rooms and good food at the restaurant. We brought our cat who was equally happy with the mezzanine and ladder to climb up and down. We didn't stay long enough to use the pool unfortunately but it looked nice. My 94 year old mother in law was very happy and appreciated the attention the manager gave her. Great place to stop over night.

We booked this accommodation for one night. Then approx one week later, we got an email from the hotel saying, hotel is closed, sorry cannot honour the booking.I asked for an explanation and got none.I asked them to cancel my booking they didn't.Then the day before booking was due to be used, I get an email asking how is my stay?Very suspicious and quite bewildering experience.I think communication is very important and being honest with people. I don't feel this accommodation provided that.Suffice to say, we won't plan on booking this place in the future.

Our booking was cancelled... suddenly the hotel was closed, no explanation giving?

We had a very enjoyable few days. The food was good, rooms were excellent & the owners were excellent.As we arrived early from the ferry they arranged our room immediately which was appreciated.The pool was excellent.

I liked the lay out of the rooms (family room, with a mezzanine floor for 2 full size children's beds), very clean and comfortable beds. There was a small hedged garden, leading off our room with direct access to the pool. Within the hotel, although there appeared several rooms occupied, it was very quiet and the pool was mostly there for our own use. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the host / owner was very friendly and welcoming, with a good selection of wine. Great location as a stop over for the ports and the town of Dinan is a lovely place to visit and not far away.

The rooms are pretty basic, there is no air-conditioning and due to the design of the room with a mezzanine, got really warm (even a roof window would massively help). There are also no additional facilities in the room, other then a small TV. I would like to have seen some additions, such as drink making facility (coffee maker or kettle) in the room / fridge. There was also only two of everything (2 hand towels, 2 bath towels etc) despite booking a room for 4 occupancy.

Location good for our visit to family. Accommodation roomy but no aircon or dormer windows so lacked light. Highlight was patio and pool in the garden. Stayed 2 nights rubbish not emptied from room. Dinner good, breakfast meagre. Nice host - would stay again if weather was good to use the pool.

Not recommended

Bar not open during the day including week end. Only available when restaurant was opening at 19.00. Restaurant closed on Sunday. Hours of breakfast change without notice. Cleaning of bedroom not done one day during the full stay. No change of towels despite putting them in shower as requested

Lovely pool. Room with small terrace was nice

Gardens were full of weeds. Especially all around pool area. The pool is lovely and kept clean but the weeds around the edges and between the paving stones spoil it

Easy to find, easy check-in, friendly staff

Outside area scruffy, pool did not look very clean. Restaurant food was poor. Breakfast only adequate.

Door was locked at 5.30 when we arrived and only an ansaphone when we called twice the previous day but it was OK

The hotel was closed! It seems to have good facilities but as the place was closed it was room only,Not really acceptable.

Ideal for a stopover. Good restaurant. Good outdoor space.

The fact that the staff tried their best with our non French speaking group! And super friendly!!

The bed could of been a little more comfortable but that’s just my opinion.
