Pros +
- The guy on the counter is really extremely polite and attentive
- arrived and told it was full and couldn’t help us! despite receiving confirmation from booking.com
- The hotel is very convenient for Le Mans. The owner couldn't be more helpful and it was very clean. Breakfast was excellent and the evening dinner was absolutely superb and consisted of fantastic regional dishes. We would be delighted to stay here again.
Cons -
- The facilities and location are quite limited, considering the relatively high price
- it was full!
- Unfortunately like a lot of places the restaurant isn't open every day for evening dinner. This now seems to be very common in France. If it is open we would highly recommend eating here as the food was fantastic and very reasonably priced. There are also other restaurants within easy walking distance and La Ferte Bernard is only 10 minutes away by car.

Passable
Hotel restaurant not open on a Saturday night which was not mentioned when booking or checking website, this caused a problem as we were cycling and bikes had been locked in basement for safety so we were stuck for the night. reception was closed.
