    Pros +

    • Easy access to the lodges and the manager was kind
    • Beautiful location on edge of picturesque village, excellent pool facilities. Great to be able to walk to village, friendly atmosphere. Facilities in lodge were adequate.
    • Location next to the beautiful town centre and the heated outdoor swimming pool, that was super well maintained

    Cons -

    • The heating was not working as expected. It was too cold for my wife and my son. The isolation of the lodges are very poor.
    • Lodge was adequate but could have been a bit cleaner - we had one extremely rainy day, the whole downstairs floor became wet from us coming in and out and there were few cloths/no mop to dry it/keep it dry. Lodges could use some updating, they were more dated and basic than I was expecting for the price. Disappointed that the communal indoor area with games appeared to be closed throughout, despite it being summer - would have been nice to have a place to sit, play games, outside the lodge during the rainy day.
    • The lodge was not well maintained. Looked chipped and old. And we found hairs and other dirt in the shower. It was not really inviting to shower. Sofa bed was super uncomfortable

Met by Bruno and may I say what a warm and welcoming man. Basically told me everything I need to know on the walk to the chalet. An asset to you and the guy who does the ground keeping, you know the Van Hallen looking guy. What a pleasant man and good worker.

Can't really say as an all round great spot. Maybe WiFi not being available at chalets just at the main building.

It was quite, as well in evenings. Just at the edge of the village.

Bed was crap…noisy fan in the ceiling we couldn’t shut off.

Lovely chalets in a stunning village. They were clean and comfortable. The host is very friendly and went above and beyond to assist. Plenty to keep kids entertained! Easy access to local shop, bakery and cafes.

We had some extreme heat for two nights so bring a fan if temperatures are looking hot. Also note the swimming pool doesn’t open on Mondays.

Lovely area lovely scenery and outdoors … however only problem was no air con and way too hot when it’s boiling in the day.Kids loved the swimming pool and slide . 10 minute walk if that into the beautiful torn- highly recommend.

Just too hot as it was 36* during the day .

The personel of the lodges and pool where friendly and spoke really well English.

Hygiëne and cleaning, kitchen was dirty, fork knives and pans where dirty. Kitchen was old and the smell inside the appartment was disgusting. Humid and molt smell.

Great staff and lovely location , very accommodating for motorcycles

Didn’t have a towel but owner got one for us on second night so can’t complain

    8AdrianPosted on: 6-26-2024

The location is excellent just a short walk from the stunning old town. The lodge was spacious and quiet.

We hadnt realised that there were no towels provided in the lodge. Everything else expected / needed was there.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is fabulous, a short walk to the town and plenty of walks that are well signposted.

The sleeping area upstairs was accessed by steep narrow stairs which would not suit everyone. Towels are not included, nor tea towels. The grass area in front of the accommodation had not been cut and generally it all needs some tlc. Whilst generally clean some areas such as the cooker extractor were dirty. That said, it was great for a couple of nights and the wooden chalets look lovely and high season when all the facilities are open we should imagine it’s a great place to be.

nice village very calm ( but really calm there is nothing to do in the evening only one restaurant) one hour from Le Mans with gardens, swimming pool ( big ideal for swimming) playground. great for the kids. the chalets are spacious

old wooden chalets sometimes smelled old and humid. the village is very small and it is difficult to find groceries etc. it is though very beautiful and one of the most lovely villages in France
