Brit Hotel Nantes Vigneux - L'Atlantel

We used this hotel to stop off on our way journeying South, it was clean and comfortable, friendly staff and kids loved the pool after being in the car.. ideal.

The hotel was ideal for us to stop overnight, whilst we were travelling.The breakfast was good but the staff need to be more attentive in replacing the breakfast items, particularly during the hours of breakfast, as some items were not available.The swimming pool looked inviting (but we did not use it).

We could hear our neighbours' in the room next door to us, so perhaps better sound insulation is needed when the hotel re-decorates.The lack of some breakfast items.

The hotel was lovely, although slightly dated it was still extremely clean and very comfortable. The outside pool area was beautiful we had some lovely weather during our stay so it was lovely to sit outside have a drink while the children played in the pool.

Slightly dated, but this really didn’t affect our stay.

Perfect location when visiting the area and to avoid the traffic in Nantes. The airport is 20 minutes away. The staff are wonderful, very happy and helpful.

Some areas of the hotel are now a bit old and tired.

The Hosts were excellent, lovely and clean.Breakfast lovely.

On a plus side, breakfast was relaxed, good variety of food and check out member of staff very nice.

We have pre-empted the hotel of our estimated arrival past midnight. As we were struggling to find the hotel, we decided to call. No answer after multiple long attempts. When we finally found the hotel, the staff member wasn’t aware of our arrival, and not apologising for not answering the phone. Then, on our way to the room, there were electrical cables coming off the ceiling… No explanation or apologies signals at the hotel.

The breakfast was good. There was a large selection of different jams, etc. We only stopped for a night, but had we been there longer, the pool and garden area looked relaxing. The shower pressure was good.

The location is not ideal if you arrive late and need to find food nearby. We arrived around 10pm and the hotel restaurant was closed (which is fair enough), but there is only a McDonalds within walking distance and that was closed too.
