Novotel Bourges

Friendly staff, especially in restaurant, large clean room, good TV and shower. There's a gym! Which looked great but I had no kit with me.

Bed probably had a plastic mattress cover as it was a little hot, otherwise I slept well, food was a little underwhelming in restaurant but very welcome after a long day.

Great location to break the journey from / to UK to the Alpes, secure parking, good restaurant, good breakfast and very comfy rooms and bed

Bar prices are little high, breakfast whilst good could be better as it's not cheap..

Our room, 426 on the top floor, was pleasantly warm: it was very cold outside, and there was a frost over-night. We had a good dinner in the hotel restaurant, and a peaceful night's sleep. It was good to have a bath, as we had requested. Breakfast was varied, well presented, and diligently replenished. We had not stayed here before, but would certainly do so again. Ample convenient parking and easy access to the autoroute.

Great location halfway to the south coast from Calais. Typically good Novotel. Very good dinner restaurant was extremely busy but service was fine. Breakfast was excellent. EV charging was free, that’s a first!

The room was of adequate size and provided an adequate workspace. It was provided with a wet-room, and the bed was comfortable. The restaurant provided a good choice of menu, and the staff provided a excellent standard of service, despite having to cope with a very large party of more than 50.

Pool was much appreciated after a days drive. Restaurant was good value. Breakfast was ok.

One always knows what to expect from Novotel and this did not disappoint. The room was clean, comfy and functional with a desk, safe and kettle. The hotel is very close to junction 7 off the A71 but due to a new industrial area being created it was was difficult to find on the satnav, however, Google maps got us to the location. The restaurant evening menu was enjoyable and the breakfast, as with all Novotel was substantial and good value with plenty of choice

The restaurant was very busy for the evening and we had to wait for a reservation, but it was worth it.

We had to get the room changed as the room offered was not to ancceptable standard, and genarel feel of hotel is a little tried and in need of a refresh.

Perfect stopover on the way back from Spain.We were pleasantly surprised by the restaurant – one of the best meals we’ve had in France! The swimming pool was excellent, with plenty of activities around it to enjoy. A great place to relax and recharge.

Very easy to stop at while travelling through France. Reliable and parking safe and easy.
