Logis Hostellerie Du Cheval Blanc

Evening meal

No lift, small double bed

Breakfast was very good.

Dinner not quite as good as two years ago.Negative was that the bar closed soon after dinner

Wonderful receptionist, good clean room, good quality food and choice. Good secure parking.

Good breakfast and helpful staff

Very bad internet, no fan

We had dinner and breakfast. Both were good but dinner was very impressive. We were surprised that the menu was as varied and the food was very well cooked and presented. The waiting staff, who was also the receptionist, was very pleasant - and the service in the restaurant was good.

We stayed during a particularly hot spell and, sadly, the accommodation was not equipped with air conditioning, so our room was sweltering. There was a fan, which was better than nothing - but AC would have been very welcome.

Good location, friendly stall & good food.

Bathroom very poor especially short cubicle, mould noticeable when shower door closed which was also loose.

conveniently situated for our requirements

noisy very early in the morning -refuse collection and deliveries

The bedsheets were clean. The restaurant was OK.

The breakfast was very poor and overpriced. Bread which when toasted was like cardboard. Croissants were almost inedible. The member of staff could not have been less interested in providing service. The bedroom was horrible, it was depressing. The carpet was unpleasant.

Warm and helpful reception. Restaurant was brilliant. Wonderful food superb chef

Curious toilet arrangement in an improvised space, but it worked very well.

Welcoming staff were excellent.Dinner was typically French and of a good quality. Breakfast was extremely disappointing!!!!. Secure parking was good except for the Pidgeons Overall a very pleasant venue and would stay again.

We have stayed here several times before and always enjoyed the excellent evening meals. This visit did not disappoint. Our room was quiet and comfortable and the staff were friendly and efficient.St Maure de Touraine is convenient for the Autoroute as well as visiting the Loire area.

Nothing thanks

The hotel is in the middle of a fairly non descript French Market town. Plenty of eating places around. We ate in a Moroccan fast food place, directly opposite the hotel. Breakfast was okay. Staff were lovely, some English spoken. Hotel itself was a little tired but characterful. I liked it. Safe parking for motorcycles.

Nothing. Slightly dated but good value, lovely staff.

Very friendly service with fairly basic rooms, but great location for an overnight South.

Rooms were very clean but also very old fashioned, could do with some modernisation.

Staff lovely, clean and comfortable

The staff were exceptionally helpful and the evening meal surpassed all expectations

Hostelling Du Cheval was very welcoming.

We liked everything!

Staff very friendly and excellent restaurant
