Excellent food and hard-working staff , most of whom were very friendly . Excellent food . Michelin-style presentation . In a peaceful location , very quiet at night , helped by the shutters . Couldn’t hear guests in neighbouring rooms , which is important to me.

Shortage of sockets in the room . Rooms are a little dated and basic . Wi-fo not good enough in my room . It was Ok downstairs but modems are needed to improve signal in the rooms I think . Staff were mostly friendly and very understanding that my French vocabulary is limited , except for one member who was very sarcastic towards me on one occasion and I have a feeling that she pretended not to understand my pronunciation .

Lovely location & pleasant staff. Good food too. Clean rooms, comfortable bed.

Bedrooms dated. Hand basin cracked. Few power sockets. WC separated from bathroom & not provided with a WHB. No tea/coffee making facilities.

Rooms very basic

The location is fantastic - right next door to the Chateau Villandry. The check-in was easy and the hosts very friendly. Our bikes were chained overnight in the hotel's rear garden. The hotel's restaurant is excellent and the continental breakfast had everything we needed for a full ay of cycling.

The wifi was a little patchy.

Good location with free car park. Calm and safe hotel. Polite staff. Has own restaurant and a good italian one next to it, both working untill 10pm. Recommend for overnight stay with children.

Room was full of flies and was just above the entrance of the restaurant. A bit noisy in mornings if you sleep after 9am.

Restaurant was very good: breakfast ample, and dinner very good and relatively inexpensive.

Rooms are a bit tired, but not really an issue. They have some character!

The food was delicious and staff were fantastic. Very friendly and kind. One of the few places that excepted large dogs.

No AC or fan in the room so it was extremely hot in the room even with the windows open.

The shower head did not work properly. Cleaning crew left bedding all over hallway floors while cleaning and definitely a trip hazard forpeople staying.

Excellent location for visiting the chateau which is literally next door. The room was fairly basic but clean and with everything needed for a one night stay. Free parking is a bonus too. We ate in the restaurant which was really good. Friendly staff and good service. Excellent value.

Lovely hotel in a very charming village. Our bike was stored safely in a disused restaurant and there were several other bikes stored there, presumably all doing the Loire a Velo

The drinks were slightly expensive, so we stopped at another restaurant for a drink and ended up eating there as well.

Great location, the free, private parking is a bonus. Liked the hotel having their own restaurant, with prices a bit lower than average for France! It was nice to stay in a family run hotel, instead of roadside acommodation provided by a large chain.

Room has nothing provided, and it’s so out dated, bathroom is dirty, has bugs around the walls and floors in the room, the worst place I’ve ever booked, especially with the price not cheap the place is so creepy
