- The proprietor and his wife were very friendly and helpful about places to eat for dinner (although they don't speak much English we speak a bit of French) - we ate at a popular pizza place down the road cos they had vegetarian options - and the breakfast in the hotel was excellent. The location, in the Sologne, not far from the Loire, is good for central France if you want to stay rural and there are pleasant local walks through woodlands and by lakes.
- This hotel is perfect for visiting the Loire chateaux. It was very comfortable and impeccably clean. The best thing was the wonderful breakfast. A huge variety of good quality breakfast foods, both healthy and delicious. A lot of organic options and also gluten-free options. The staff were also very pleasant and welcoming. We thoroughly recommend this hotel
- The host were so friendly and helpful. The property is simple and really clean. The host has personal touches everywhere. Couldnt recommend this property highly enough.
Cons -
- Our room was stuffy with a slightly damp smell (it had been raining) and on the small side but good value. We found the small deep bath with no plug and no wall holder for the shower difficult to use.
