    Pros +

    • The room was spacious, very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. I appreciated the retro-inspired design with its wooden furnishings, which gave the space a warm, nostalgic feel. The window offered a lovely view of the rear garden and golf course, adding a peaceful touch to the stay. The receptionist was welcoming and made check-in smooth. Breakfast was a real highlight - the buffet was generous and delicious, offering a wide selection from eggs and meats to cheeses and pastries.
    • We absolutely loved this hotel. Our room was lovely & had an amazing view over the gardens. The staff were great & it's close to a fab little village. We will definitely return should we be in the area ?
    • Good stopover with dogs (10€ per dog, per night, not 5€ as per FAQ on booking.com property page). Grounds they can run in straight from ground floor room. Main house appears to be closed except for breakfast. Room comfortable and warm. Good on site gayed parking area.

    Cons -

    • The shower water pressure was a bit low, which made it slightly less enjoyable. I also found the separate toilet and bathroom setup a bit inconvenient, though that might be a matter of personal preference.
    • Good room only disappointed as the floor was stained all over probably from Wine. There were no glasses to drink from
    • A walkway all the way to the large car park area would help as it’s very difficult to get cases through the deep gravel. There are some walkways to the outside rooms but it’s the car park that everyone gets their suitcases out.

The room on the first floor was clean and tidy - and functional large walk in shower. Staff friendly on arrival and departure.

A walkway all the way to the large car park area would help as it’s very difficult to get cases through the deep gravel. There are some walkways to the outside rooms but it’s the car park that everyone gets their suitcases out.

Really peaceful, comfortable room. Staff were excellent , couldn't do enough for us. Lovely breakfasts, the golf club on site do fantastic lunches ( nothing like uk golf club fodder! ) , lovely garden , close to a tabac that dies really good coffee. Boulangerie within 10 mins walk is a must visit! Excelent value for money. Well equipped room ,very comfy beds.

    We can't think of anything!

Nice location. Large bathroom. Toilet is separated from the bathroom. Confortabile bed. Very nice view from the window. In the room was warm. Good breakfast.

    Coffe machine does not work.

Location on our way to Spain lovely building and great if your a golfer the building is a bit tired on the out side leading to the reception but very nice inside room was a good size nice and warm great shower beautiful grounds for the dog to have a run around

Great location and grounds. Room was clean and comfortable with a lovely new bathroom. Staff very helpful (on the end of a phone).

It wasn’t what we expected from a 3 star hotel. The main building was locked up and empty when we arrived at 6.30pm on a Friday (although we had been called and warned by the staff) and the restaurant was shut. There was no kettle in the room. However there was someone on the end of a phone to answer any questions and she was very pleasant and helpful.

Excellent service, beautiful grounds, lovely and quiet.

We stayed adjacent to the main house and noticed that most things had already been given a make over. We suppose that process will be concluded soon which makes possible remarks about that on our part obsolete.

Misleading description, inaccessible to anyone with mobility issues.

The property is listed as wheelchair friendly, it is not. Stairs to main building and in room. Couldn’t access breakfast or bathroom. Please, if you use a wheel chair or have any mobility issues this is not the property for you.

Lovely setting and view from the rooms.

Breakfast were mini versions of everything which was cute. But would have been nice to have more substantial savoury/hot options. We were offered to have more croissants cooked but would take 20 mins and we needed to go out. Would have like tea/coffee making facility in the room or to be able to buy one from the hotel without having to pay for the breakfast.

    8RenataPosted on: 7-31-2023

    Nice and quite location.

Noisy doors and smell of humidity.

    5SuzannePosted on: 7-11-2023

    Quiet location.

Needs refreshing. Outside the entrance looked untidy and had worn green matting leading up to hotel, which did not create a good first impression. Our room was not ready when we arrived after 4 and had to wait 20 minutes for a room to be finished and even then we were given a different room as ours was not ready.

    7KarenPosted on: 7-7-2023

Nice building, good location very helpful staff

There isn’t a restaurant in the evening.
