Pros +
- Is a nice place to be relax, the breakfast was very nice. And attentive staff.
- We loved our stay at Chateau Corneille, it exceeded our expectations, even better we later found out it is a mere half an hour drive to Monet Garden. this means we did not need to live close to the garden as the Price is much more affordable given the distance. That was a bonus for us.
- Beautiful building and location Food in restaurant was excellent Staff friendly and helpful Comfortable bed and quality bedding
Cons -
- Room could do with updating
- Would have liked too see some older furniture in the bedroom, for example the bed.
- Felt room price should have included breakfast. Otherwise good value for what you get.

Food was plentiful and surroundings very clean making it a pleasant experience

Great setting. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant was excellent- great menu choice with lovely ambiance. Dog friendly. Room was comfortable and quiet. Look out for the white rabbit!!!

The dinner in the restaurant belonging to the hotel. Also the hotel and the park around it look nice. But the room didn't correspond to the picture in booking.com.
Definitely the breakfast. For the money they asked too little was offered in a very bad quality. Compared to the other hotels we stayed on our journey, this had by far the worst breakfast. The room was also a bit of a disappointment as the installations were all quite old - the sign "wait for the warm water to come" sort of summed it up.
Beautiful buildings
Smalll room close to reception so it was noisy
Lovely pretty location, secure, hotel booked a taxi for us to eat at local town as arrived Sunday and restaurant at hotel was not open. Very pretty local town.
It would have been nice to have access to a bar / restaurant but understand and staff very happy to help arrange a reservation.
We liked the location, the beautiful building; maybe a little tired in places, but we know how difficult & expensive it is to maintain such a chateau. We received a very warm welcome from the owner and his staff and the dinner was terrific. Breakfast was good, too.
Nothing!
Will not come again
Some of the staff were very unfriendly so the service was poor. For example, they didn't inform people they changed the time of breakfast and lunch and the hotel locates at a place there were no shops or restaurants nearly around.
Amazing location, lovely staff, very good food. Pet friendly, my dog enjoyed the park and the surroundings and was pet by the staff.
The breakfast was the best part of the stay. Lots of fresh juices, yoghurts, eggs and bakery goods. The location is convenient for major routes and is very quiet and secluded.
We were disappointed with the property in reality compared to the description and photos online. Our room was very basic and whilst it was clean, overall it didn’t seem good value or live up to the expectation of a “chateau” experience.
We were very late and they left the gate and front door open for us. Plesant surprise that a cooked breakfast was available in the morning.
Location good
Breakfast was poor, the rooms need to be up dated.
Good location, good breakfast, hippy vibe, good bathroom, good looking building
limited choice beers and wines. all a bit 'tired'.
The restaurant was pleasant and the food was good. Breakfast was generous.
The hotel needs a re-vamp. Our room and bathroom was small and shabby, but clean.
Pleasant
Room needed refurbishment. Bathroom very smart, but bedroom dingy and carpet worn.Restaurant on the first night very busy and understaffed, but better the next two nights.
Wow, why can I say, after the hustle of my previous few weeks it was so nice to get here, simply stunning, cheeky rabbit hopping around, amazing staff all round, great food at the restaurant 6/5 stars, I will be back for sure
That I had to leave sadly
The building and gardens are unique. The white Rabbit is friendly and the goat is inquisitive.
No facilities for food or drink on a Sunday evening. Breakfast is under par.
The outside area. The restaurant was very good.
Reception and the bar had shutteres like a shop front and closed around 19:00. There was no staff on site on Sunday afternoon the main door is left open and room keys are left on a shelf in a box, seems a bit insecure
