Best Western Hotel Helmstedt am Lappwald

Was hard to get a taxi from the hotel and they only deal with drivers who accept cash only. It took long time and I missed my train to Mgedburg

The receptionist "Jennifer" was extremely kind and helpful. She called restaurants around the area to find out if they are open on Good Friday. The hotel is lovely. Very quiet, safe and pleasant. It's rare to find such nice holidays nowadays.

The shower head was not powerful enough when washing.

Correct hotel on the highway, easy to get to the rooms, breakfast in the highway restaurant.

Heating- even though the air con was at 23 degrees (or so the thermostat read) the room was cold, the radiator heating was off the whole stay, hot water took around 10/15 minutes to come through hot - should be 50 degrees in around 1 minute to prevent risk of legionella.No meals available weekends apart from breakfast. Some lights not working in the room. Not enough plugs near bed for chargers etc We’ve stayed here several times in the past and never had fault, shame

The temperature of the "Eco Shower" it was cold without option to adjust to warmer temp

The staff was very nice, the room very clean and nice. They welcomed our dog with a treat and put a bowl for food in the room which we found was very nice.

They charge you for parking the car on their parking place. We could have parked in the street for free.

It would have been good to know that it was 30€ for the dog per night. No problem to pay but the precise amount was not available or known beforehand.

Room was spacious, clean and tidy and the hotel well situated next to a motorway for any journeys being made. The staff were helpful.

Wonderful hotel, very clean and comfortable, with extremely nice and very helpful staff. We stayed here on our road trip through Europe, and enjoyed it so much we decided to stay here on the way back home. Also really nice touch with the dog treats, bowl and letter from management to our dog, she thoroughly enjoyed her stay as well! The food is also extremely good.

Unfortunately there was no gluten free option for breakfast (we requested it in advance).

Very helpful staff at the reception, i booked wrong dates but they have changed the booking for me and didn’t leave me sleeping on the street. And it didn’t cost me anything extra.Rooms were great, clean, comfy beds.

All little touches, like teddy bear gummies nice present for dog. Comfy beds, coffee machine. Thinking in advance with nails file and sewing kit. Lovely and helpful staff.

Great hotel. Clean, comfortable room. Dog friendly and even dog bowls and treats left in the room. Friendly staff and great location.

Good location close tot he motorway and also a short walk to town for bars & restaurants. The room was very large and airy. The hotel staff left a bowl and treats for our dog which was very thoughtful.
