Pros +
- Perfect for a get away week end. Quiet and peaceful. We played tennis, walked around, visited Etretat. Loved it.
- Fantastic place to relax and get away with lovely beautiful grounds. Staff is very nice and facilities are great. Room was extremely nice and spacious. Food is limited but quite good
- An oasis of tranquility. We enjoyed walking through the forest each day after breakfast and made full use of the outdoor jacuzzi!
Cons -
- For the price, a few mistakes from the staff (entering in our room with wet shoes!) and we had high exepectation for the food which was not great. The raw material in great but way too cooked and little choice. Also, we knew it but the spa is in a separate house so in the winter you have to take you coat!
- Being picky - we would have liked to have coffee available in the room.
- The dinner is really a let down, especially the vegetarian version. It’s bland and expensive for what it is. The place is not truly kids friendly with no spaces dedicated for kids (there is not a single playground in the vast 20 hectares park). It’s more suitable for couples looking for a quiet hideaway.

The domain was fabulos, very well maintained, very relaxing, great facilities, staff very helpful and friendly.
The facilities are amazing. The park and the spa are breathtaking.

Beautiful territory of the hotel with nature and farm animals. It's perfect if you are looking for a silence and nature. Comfortable room with a bathtub. We absolutely loved that each room name had a story associated to it. Spa is quite compact but nice. Friendly staff. Delicious lunch/dinner. We took a BBQ basket to prepare it in the specially arranged location in the forest and it was absolutely magical experience.
Breakfast could offer more valiety of savory options for its price, but it's a really minor improvement suggestion.
A peaceful and green place ..10 minutes away from Etretat and the charming village of Brunneval
Very quiet and relaxing stay
the food in the restaurant could be better, but the experience with the fireplace and the nice people is great.
It was beautiful, aesthetic, cozy and clean
The hotel has beautiful grounds, but it seriously lacks in safety and customer service. During our stay, we faced a distressing incident that made me feel completely helpless. My 67-year-old mother slipped and fell by the pool because there was no anti-slip coating. There were no staff or cameras or any survellance near the pool. There was no one else in the pool, no staff to assure the security, no surveillance, no other visitors. The door to the pool was shut. When I tried to help her get up she lost consciousness. She was in my hands and I didn’t know what to do. I shouted for help for about 10-15 minutes, no one heard anything. I was crying and didn’t know what to do. Luckily she got her consciousness back. I was able to bring her chair and accompany to the hotel room. When we asked the hotel staff for assistance, they were dismissive and did not provide transportation to the hospital to check if my mum had brain concussion or hematomas. They also claimed that the hotel had no insurance for such incidents. The person responsible for the spa area said: “it was her fault that she fell down, we have nothing to do with it”. The manager was not there for two days and did not address our concerns when contacted. This lack of care and response from the hotel was shocking. This experience shows that the hotel has major issues with safety and customer service. Future guests should be aware of these problems before deciding to stay here. The problem we faced could happen to anyone.
The place, the surrounding nature and the pines
No closet in one of the double rooms
Fantastic facilities - pool, outdoor Japanese pool, sauna - all new and super-clean. We stayed in the Chalet - it is a detached 3 bedroom house perfect for the family. Amazing breakfast with local cheese and pastries - a true taste of Normandy.
Beautiful, serene location - a great place to relax and very peaceful. The spa / pool facilities were very new, clean and nice setting. The decor of the hotel and the room furnishings were impressive.
I thought the service could be better. The staff were polite but not particularly friendly. Also whilst our room was lovely the front door was in the reception area so it felt awkward going in and out of the room.
Beautiful surroundings, very peaceful. Very comfortable bed.
Little choice in terms of food. Repetitive menu.Sauna was out of order (not informed).
It’s paradise! The nature, location, and views are unique. I had a memorable time with goats. We enjoyed healing time in silence. When I saw our room, I was speechless.Breakfast buffet full of local, seasonal products, including incredible cheese.Spa has all you need, and the message was worth the price.
We arrived after 3 pm, so we missed the lunchtime frame. The lovely female from the reception had nothing to offer us except little, sweet snacks. It would be nice if the hotel could offer something more for hunger before dinner. The dinner was a bit overpriced, and drinks were not included. We didn't like the fact that you need to pay for almost everything extra – like water, tea, coffee, bike rental.
Lovely small hotel, with its small buildings spread across a beautiful landscaped property. This is the perfect place if you want to be surrounded by nature and to relax. The room was great, with a comfortable bed and a nice tub. Same for the breakfast. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi and the heated pool. Étretat is less than 20m away (by car), so the location couldn’t be any better. The staff was very welcoming, professional while relax.
Only negative side, and the reason for not giving 10, are the check-in and check-out times. I still remember when the standard was 12:00 for check-out and 14:00 for check-in; regardless of the reasons behind it and ways to mitigate its impact on guests (you can use the spa and explore the property), a check-out at 11:00 and check-in at 17:00, when you pay more than EUR 400 a night, is difficult to understand.
superb location and gorgeous interior design. super calm and comfy rooms. spa treatments are a bit pricey but it was amazing! staff super helpful and consistently helpful.
breakfast could be more traditional French (no baguettes and only a few pastries!!)
the grounds were beautiful and the staff were delightful
the food for dinner was not very imaginative
Blissful getaway, retreat-style hotel.Beautiful grounds, fantastic spa and pool. Comfortable rooms and public space.Ideal space to relax after a long car journey!
The check-in time (5pm) could be more generous.
Beautiful Room, very spacious and hotel in a lovely setting
The room was very warm, no fans, no air con with just one window that you could open. I wouldn’t want to be staying there on a very hot night. Dinner was disappointing
We were charged by 60 euros by extra bed for kids that wasn’t in my booking reservation, the kids sofa-bed was next to the stairs. Lack of personal to assist the people. The dinner was not good and very expensive. The breakfast was good, but have a lot to improved. Disappointed with the stay at this hotel. It is expensive and I am not happy with the charge of extra sofa-bed. Regards
Disappointed with the stay at this hotel. It is expensive and I am not happy with the charge of extra sofa-bed. Very expensive and doesn’t worth the many. Lack of staff. No one assist us in lunch neither breakfast.
