- A pleasant apartment
- The property is a beautiful old mill house with lots of history. Our room was very comfortable and clean. We had everything we needed even coffee pods!!! Price was excellent. My husband and I liked the furniture and decor. Thank you we had a lovely relaxing comfortable break away.
Cons -
- Musty smell from old carpet in staircase and the entrance was off-putting. The staircase badly needs redecoration, is dark and uninviting. A hoover was left outside the room in the hallway. Rather disappointing given all the good reviews. The owner said she would waive the cleaning charge (we hadn't realised there was one and would not have booked had we known). The previous occupants had not cleaned it well and there was dust on surfaces. The bedding and towels were not high quality. We had just come from a very high standard property and were disappointed by this one.
