Location, staff and one of the best meal we have had.
Big bathroom. Clean room. Lovely breakfast. Comfortable bed. kind staff. Accommodates animals..
Could hear everything outside from my room. No AC. Was really hot and difficult to sleep so I had to keep the windows open and every car that passed the auberge made me feel as if I were on the road. Poor or no ventilation in the bathroom.
Friendly staff, excellent restaurant, comfortable room.
Parking off site can be difficult.
Lovely room overlooking the vineyards of Beaujolais. Dinner in the restaurant was exceptional & not to be missed. Every course was a delight.
The room was very comfortable and clean if not luxurious, with an excellent shower and modern bathroom cleverly fitted in a very small space. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the view stunning. The food in the restaurant was outstanding.
There was a strong smell of cat pee on the steps in from the entrance from the garden. The room was expensive for its size and spartan decor Arrival was awkward with little space to stop and unload given that the car park was 100yards away down a steep hill.
Fantastic restaurant! Room was clean and well laid out!
Maybe some a/c would help as it was very warm.
Well, the place is extraordinary. It is located in a small village above vineyards with amazing views. But the icing on the cake was the restaurant, we never ever expected a Michelin Star and the experience was outstanding. The food, the vine, even bread was special, all surrounded by fab music and calm lights. The waiters were great, with soooooooo much patience for our ignorance. Definitely coming back. Thank you all, we really enjoyed our stay.
A nice hotel, the evening meal was very good, and the room spacious, clean and modern
The service is one of the most warming experiences we had anywhere in the world. We also loved the breakfast for the large variety of home cooked dishes. Finally, the fine dining experience was outstanding.
We visited in peak summer and could not get comfortable during the night given the heat. Perhaps a better fan can address it.
Beautiful location . Lovely rooms with a view . Staff super helpful . Food exceptional
The restaurant was first class. Food fabulous. Very comfortable room and in a lovely location.
Could have done with aircon.
This was a really comfortable, small hotel in an equally small village. Breakfast was individually prepared and of a good standard. All staff took great trouble to support our needs / requests. We did not dine here, as it was above our budget, but the restaurant was busy at both lunch and dinner. The local Carrefour at Le Perreon, 1 km away provided cheap fuel and all the provisions needed for picnics / camping, etc. An great base for touring the Beaujolais wines area.
Parking is not available on site, but is free on street or in the village car park within 100metres. No complaints at all!
Everything about our stay was excellent. The only minor niggle was dinner - no proper menu or information on a set menu. Just the two price options. It was however very delicious, but a bit more information would have been helpful
As my general review - menus and information were a little short in supply. We had a very lovely bottle of local wine. However when my husband ordered an additional glass of the same wine - the price was 50% of the bottle price. It was a shame they didn’t inform us at the time or offer alternatives.
The property is in charming old stone building. The comfortable rooms are modern with great views on the Beaujolais hills. the hotel has a gourmet restaurant.
there was nothing not to like.
Wonderful place to stay and an amazing restaurant. We took advantage of the private spa and sauna and sampled the local wines. Very very good
Friendliness of the staff, equipment for our baby, dinner and breakfast.
Parking was not easy, room was on the smaller side, no air conditioning.
10 course dinner was exceptional but not what was expected.
No private parking which was difficult to get dog and bags across a road.
